The problem was that the coaches gave him the choice of the run - pass option. He should have been told to run it if the coaches did not want to give him the choice. Boomer Esiason tweeted that the other players played it like a run.

His value is diminished. I hope he has learned that he does not do himself any favors with the diva act. I would not mind him coming back at a reasonable amount if he is no longer the diva. As for the trade, I would not characterize it as "robbery." Whether Gaines re-signs with the Bills also will play into how to evaluate that trade. Also, nothing will ever make up for how much we overpaid to draft him.

This is so true. I have no idea why they were not inducted into the HOF years ago.

Coincidently, I am joining a friend to see the Moody Blues down here in South Florida at the Hard Rock in a couple of days. It is my understanding that Ray Thomas had retired from the group a while back. He apparently died of prostate cancer. RIP

I am very, very curious where Sammy is going to play next year and how much teams are going to offer him. I suspect that it is not going to be nearly as much as the fourth pick in the draft would have hoped.

I have to admit that I am disappointed. It is a shame the Chiefs won their division. But for the fact that White looks to be good (let's hope his play continues), the trade is turning out to be ok - certainly not great.

I think you are 100% correct and that Belichick is furious about this . . . especially now that Garoppollo has shown just how good he is. I would not be surprised if Belichick himself cooperated with the author of the article off the record.

I honestly don't blame them. This is probably their one shot to raise a lot of money that will go to a good cause for these kids. I also felt bad for Tyler that no one initially thought to donate to his charity. I am glad that people stepped up for both. It made me feel good. I suspect that there is not a lot of overlap.
