  1. I agree. Dareus' teammates loved him. He loved playing for the Bills and in Buffalo. He was about to receive a community service award when he was traded. I believe that the negative stuff about him not fitting into the "process" blah, blah, blah was just the new regime trying to justify getting rid of him for a 6th round pick that turned into a 5th. Also, to all of the accountants who loved this trade, Dareus is going to be the third highest paid Buffalo Bill in 2018 (as of right now) . . . except that he will be playing for the Jaguars.
  2. It was a sixth round pick until just the past couple of weeks. You seem a bit overeager to call the other guy moronic. Dareus will be the Buffalo Bills third highest paid player in 2018 . . . except that he will be playing for another team. McBeane could have waited another year to see how he does and decide to keep him or give him away for 5th or 6th round pick next year.
  3. He certainly was not on the field when: Jets = 194 Yards rushing Saints = 298 Yards rushing Chargers = 146 Yards rushing
  4. For those of you who watched Episodes, she looks a little bit like the actress who played Carol: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1137659/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t5 http://hairstyles.thehairstyler.com/hairstyle_views/front_view_images/3738/original/Kathleen-Rose-Perkins.jpg
  5. Kromer was under contract, did a fantastic job, and was obligated to continue with the Bills if McCoach wanted to keep him. Instead, McCoach chose to fire Kromer (as well as the team chaplain, Kathryn Smith, and others), but chose to keep Danny Crossman of all people for some reason.
  6. I would take Dareus back. I think that a lot of the negative stuff about him being some kind of problem on the team was a narrative some were pushing to justify getting rid of him and the minimal return. By all reports, his teammates loved him and he loved playing in Buffalo and embraced the city and the people. He was about to get some community service award when he was traded. Ironically, Dareus played successfully for the guy who I heard use the term "process" in the football context for the first time. That guy won another national championship yesterday. Just my two cents.
  7. I actually was comparing the 2017 Bills to the 2016 Bills. The 2016 Buffalo Bills metrics I cited were better than this year's team.
  8. Not only that, many of the metrics are actually worse (as I mentioned in another post).
  9. According to this chart, the 20th and 21st picks are worth a combined 1650. In turn, that is worth between the 5th (1700) and 6th (1600) pick.
  10. If the "savings" are what you say, I would not get rid of either Cordy Glenn (presuming he is healthy) or Hughes. Why create more holes than we already have that we need to fill.
  11. These guys are pretty good at saying stuff without really saying anything. I used to have a partner like that. I would leave a conversation and just shake my head.
  12. I am not sure what you mean by regression. In some respects, we already regressed: Our point differential is worse than last year. Our offense is ranked worse than last year. Our defense is ranked worse than last year. We made the playoffs and that is great and was exciting . . . but we NEVER would have made the playoffs but for: 1) a late and questionable call against the Colts on the two point conversion. 2) a miracle play by Andy Dalton. Let's not kid ourselves about where we are right now . . . especially with all of the holes that need to be filled.
  13. Denying an accusation such as this does not "dignify" the accusation, it puts to rest any idea that the Bills coaches are instructing their players to do this. If it is not true, I would have made that clear. Just my two cents.
  14. The Bowling Ball was not Dennison's idea. The Bowling Ball was part of McD's "breakfast club" at Carolina. Without that relationship, I do not see the Bowling Ball even being on the team.
  15. Not only does Clay not save anything, he may be our most consistent receiver (other than Shady of all people). That would hurt. I really enjoy watching him play and think that he enjoys being on the Bills and playing in Buffalo.
  16. If he shook Sully or Bucky's hand, I am not sure that he "gets it" . . . unless he wanted to look into the heart of darkness.
  17. To quote Doug Marrone, McBeane "obviously" are familiar with both and would (should) know whether one or both could help the Bills.
  18. I would welcome either. Without Shula revamping that offense, Carolina would not have made their run a couple years ago. Dorsey also has a good head on his shoulders. That was his biggest attribute when he was the QB for those great Cane's teams (arm strength was not so great). Until this news, he was reputed to be one of the up and coming assistants in the league. Disclaimer: I may biased because I am friends with a member of the Shula family and have met Mike. Mike is a great guy. I also am a UM fan and have a soft spot in my heart for Dorsey.
  19. The problem is that they cannot take their QBs with them.
  20. All GM's are tasked with finding a franchise QB. The problem is that there are so few elite QBs. To make things worse, the way college football is played these days, college football is grooming fewer and fewer QBs that might possibly develop into a pro style elite QB.
  21. This was a question out of left field. More odd than that, McD did not deny it. Bizarre. I did not listen, but read about these exchanges. Am I missing something?
  22. You are correct. I remember thinking that the NFL must have changed the pass interference rule especially for that Super Bowl. Washington got away with so much and it definitely affected the game.
  23. I am already preparing myself for Sammy signing with the Pats on a deal very favorable to the Pats.
  24. Not through the WR though . . . .
  25. You are 100% wrong. It would not have been called an INT by the refs at the game. It then would have been confirmed by replay instantly.
