  1. In earlier posts, he went out of his way to mention Buffalo fans etc. I have the feeling he wants to make sure that he does not alienate Bengals fans and those that have been supporting the charity. That is understandable. The latest tweet from the foundation (that I saw) mentions both the Bills and Bengals etc. Stupid question: How do you post so that the image of the link appears like this?
  2. This is actually better than making the playoffs. Don't get me wrong, I am ecstatic that we are finally in the playoffs. Yet, the world does not come to an end if we do not make the playoffs . . . as we have learned over the past 17 years. This outpouring of generosity, however, is so meaningful to the lives of ordinary people. It also shows the whole world that Buffalo truly is the City of Good Neighbors. Our collective reaction to making the playoffs and donating to this foundation makes me so proud to be from Buffalo and a Bills fan. Well done everyone!
  3. It is great that this play has so much more meaning beyond football. Andy seems like a great guy and his and his wife's foundation addresses a significant need. It you guys are looking to donate, another symbolic number is $49.00, because the play was a 49 yard TD pass.
  4. Thanks for linking the article.
  5. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You said he was bad. I clearly think he is not based on what he showed and his career 4.8 rushing average which was outstanding. You seem to forget his injuries that hobbled him. He tried to play on a high ankle sprain and never should have been hung out to dry like that. The guy showed that he was very good when used properly and not injured. I suspect that we can agree that, if Shady's ankle is injured the way we think it probably is, it will affect him as well. That is the nature of the position.
  6. Whatever. You can say he was overdrafted etc., but is it beyond ridiculous to say he was a "bad NFL player."
  7. It really freaking sucks. We finally make the playoffs after all of these years and our best player (or at least one of our best players) either cannot play or is going to be hobbled. I really hope that he can be close to 100%. The other thing that we need to be careful of is that, if he is not close to 100% and there is an increased risk of injury, it probably is best to rest him so that he can be available the following week if possible. I know. Wishful thinking.
  8. Let's meet at Ted's the next time I am in Buffalo. Yum!
  9. Not many "bad NFL players" have a 4.8 career rushing average . . . .
  10. You owe me $100. The only Buffalo Bills jersey I own is a Dareus jersey which I wore when I attended the game in London. Because we lost, I could not wear it again. It hangs in the closet. Instead of paying me $100, you can donate it to the Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation: https://www.andydalton.org
  11. That is just BS. You don't like the guy and threw out a negative phrase "dumbass" to push your narrative. Your criticism is so personal, I wonder if CJ pissed on your daisies or something.
  12. The guys showed what he could be when he was not hurt and was never used properly by the Bills after Chan left. P.S. I like all of the backs that you list.
  13. Whatever. 4.8 yards per attempt for his career. Yeah, he is terrible.
  14. "He was just a dumbass dude who could run fast and be elusive." Oh, brother.
  15. I have no idea what happened with him and the Saints unless he lost his explosiveness due to his injuries or age. It is just plain incorrect to call him "God awful." From what I read, he had a spectacular pre-season with the Chiefs and he was a surprise cut . . . until people realized that they had a young gem in Kareem Hunt.
  16. God awful?!? You mean like when he played with a high ankle sprain even though he should not have been playing at all.
  17. That is what I was thinking. I wonder if that is why the Chiefs did not waste time picking him up again. I would draft Shady in the first round right now. I also think that a case can be made for drafting each of those guys in the first round. I think the Cowboys are still happy they drafted Ezekiel Elliot with the 4th pick in the first round (notwithstanding his off the field issues).
  18. Exactly. It is surprising that anyone would call him "bad."
  19. It was amazing . . . that is why I donated $49 to the Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation. For those of you that would like to donate: https://www.andydalton.org
  20. I really hope Shady has a miraculous recovery. It is going to be tough enough as it is. I presume that the Jags will do what a lot of defenses have done over the past couple of years: crowd the box to stop the run and make Tyrod try to beat them passing. As I write this, I think that Charles Clay and Kelvin Benjamin are going to be tremendously important to our success next week. Tyrod is going to need them. I would really, really like to kick St. Doug's rear. It was tough enough losing to the Jags in London (when he was an assistant), it would be horrible to lose to him as a HC in our first playoff game in so many years. I do think that we can do it. We just need to have things fall our way (field position, turnovers, penalties) and the defense needs to keep them under control.
  21. 312 There was no hypocrisy. I emphasized the yards that the Dolphins offense had for the reason that I mentioned . . . their QB was no one 99.99% of America had ever heard of before last week. Nice try.
  22. I never asked either of you or anyone else to apologize. I am just being realistic. We had 349 yards rung up against us by a team that gave up on the season and was led by a guy who most of us never had heard of before and it took an absolute freaking miracle of a play by Dalton (4th and 12, 49 yard TD with 44 seconds left) for us to make the playoffs. I am happy that we finally have some luck on our side after having none for so many years. I also hope that we crush St. Doug because it will be miserable if we were to lose to that guy. Happy New Year. Go Bills!
