  1. I bet it is MM (or people connected with him) who are leaking this. The guy was grinning from ear to ear last week. Perhaps, he does not like the criticism that he is receiving internally within the organization the past week.
  2. Details???
  3. Now that is interesting . . . .
  4. Let me begin by saying that I think that Reggie will be an outstanding RB in the NFL. I did hear something interesting on the NFL Channel on Sirius this morning. He only carried the ball for more than 20 times in a game twice in his career.
  5. We "mishandled" him by giving him the friggen job without a competition given that he was far from ready from being a starter. If the guy cannot take the competition, he should not be in the NFL. We have "mishandled" every QB in the past several years by not giving any of them an adequate o-line. I really hope that Losman turns out to be the QB TD and MM thought he would be, but I have my doubts. I really would like to see what he could do behind a capable line.
  6. It is clear that you just have an anti-Cane bias. They are no better or worse (in terms of character) than any other major college program. Your assertion is kind of like saying that the Bills are a bunch of murderers because one player was accused of killing his wife. It also is kind of like saying the Bills are bunch of child molesters because TH had sex with an under age girl. That is why the post was BS. For example, should we say that Ohio State is made up of a bunch of classless thugs because of Maurice Clarett's antics?
  7. Very well said.
  8. That is complete BS.
  9. What he said. I also have said this before - there are people on this board who just don't seem to like WM for reasons that have nothing to do about football or his character. The guy has shown plenty of character. He never mailed it in. The guy treats his job as full time job year round. Behind a horrible o-line, he was the fastest player in Bills history (a history that includes some great backs) to gain 2,000 yards in his career. If you looked at his expression at the end of the Dolphin game, you knew that he cared deeply about what happened. He had the character to come back from a devastating knee injury. He has said that he would do whatever the coaches asked him to do. When we were eliminated from the playoffs, he made it a point to say that the Bills had to play for pride. His agent, on the other hand, is a jerk. Yet, let's not throw out the baby with the bath water. Everything that I have heard about Willis down here in Miami is that he is a class guy who comes from a great family. Give the guy a break.
  10. Shhhhhhhhhh!!!
  11. I thought that it was pretty good. The French actress in it, Eva Green, was one of the main reasons why I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the fact that it tried to portray the opposing sides as three dimensional characters. It was not as good as Gladiator, but is definitely worth a look.
  12. He was a great goalie and a lot of fun to watch. As a kid, I remember trying to imitate his style. He was so acrobatic and his glove hand was amazing. For those of you that are to young to have seen him, he was one of the most integral players on any Buffalo sports team.
  13. That would be great if they selected an RB.
  14. I totally agree with what you say except that I thought that there could be a role for him as purely a specialty player on power players. I would not put him on a regular shift. With the new rules, guys are skating circles around him.
  15. Not even to stand in front of the net during power plays?
  16. Lightning Waive Andreychuk
  17. He was actually afraid to compete for the job with Kyle Wright with the Hurricanes. Given that he was brandishing a gun, the correct reference really should be Ohio State.
  18. As much as I am disappointed in MM, it is totally irresponsible for anyone to drag his family into it. The same thing with TD and his family.
  19. Bellissimo!!!
  20. I agree with basically everything you have posted.
  21. My main point is that we should not fall in love with any particular QB. I am really concerned that there are a lot of people on this board that are overly infatuated with JP. I have no idea whether he will or will not be the QB that TD et al thought he would be. I have some serious doubts. Let's just not give up the goals of the team just for the sake of one player. At this point I think that KH is the much better QB. He deserves a chance to compete with JP in a legitimate competition. I also think that we could do better. I have no idea whether he would be available, but I would not mind Daunte. I am sure that there will be other QBs that will be available whom we should consider. If JP deserves to start, he should start. That would be great for JP and the team. If not, so be it. The nice thing about having Marv around is that he will not feel wedded to JP if, in fact , it turns out that trading for him was a colossal blunder. I just hope that we have a QB on the roster next year in whom the team and coaching staff have confidence and who can take us to the playoffs and beyond.
  22. Open competition.
