The Canes bashing on this board is very humorous (and misguided).

The line then was every bit as bad as the line that we have now and have had for the past several years. I just wish the Bills "brain trust" would realize just how important it is to upgrade this line.

I agree. I do not understand people who want to get rid of Marty for the sake of getting rid of him. Marty is a great guy. He is married to a Buffalo girl (if I recall correctly). He holds the franchise records for most consecutive shutout minutes and now the most consecutive wins. Give the guy a break.

You may want to reconsider that. I have not had this much fun watching a Buffalo team (Bills or Sabres) in a long time.

I am pretty confident that he wanted to stay and that TD pushed him out. In fact, it is my understanding that before he got pushed out, they stripped him of most of his duties, removed him from his office, and practically located him a closet. It was no secret that TD wanted to push him out. Another brilliant maneuver by TD.

I loved that guy. That is another example of TD getting rid of good long time Buffalo Bills people -- for no good reason. We should bring him back -- just so I can listen to him talk about guys in the draft. I loved the way he would describe some kid that you never heard of from some school you barely recognized. He could tell you everything that ever happened in the kids life -- and would do it in that Bobby Bowdenesque accent of his. BRING BACK DWIGHT!!!

Personally, I prefer Fabi from FSU (even though I am a Canes fan). I have a feeling that Leinart does much better than this.

We also would have the option of trading down to pick up more players or picks if there is no one there that we want. The better the pick, the more options we would have. I seriously doubt that there is much the Bills could do in the next three games that could make me feel better about the season. I would love to see what the younger guys can do - particularly Roscoe and the young DBs. I would also like to see some of that smash mouth football that we were promised.
