I am not a huge MW fan, but I do think that he is worth keeping at the right price. He can be salvaged. P.S. Those of you who have not lost a parent or grandparent have no idea how it can effect you. I lost my dad 19 years ago and it effects me every day.

Good post. The problem was not the call, but the execution of the play. An NFL QB has to complete that pass. Having said that, MM has lost this team and he has lost me -- unless something drastically changes. This whole EM thing demonstrates that MM is in over his head. He and TD also have ignored the real problems with this team and have instead chosen to point blame elsewhere were it did not and does not belong.

It is a testament to WM that he has as many yards as he has. Do you really think any RB would look good when first contact is so often BEHIND the line of scrimmage. You guys are kidding yourselves if you think that LT or anyone else would have much success behind this line. Our most successful RB in franchise history did not do much until the Bills put the electric company in front of him. Moreover, a guy like Willis is someone who wears down the defense as the game goes along -- provided he gets enough carries. He only had 8 carries. The longer the people on this board and (most importantly) OBD believe we have an adequate line, the longer we are going to live through this misery. Our line has been consistently horrible since the Jim Kelly years.

It is obvious that Mort is TD's and MM's mouth piece. These guys are trying to trash EM (just like they have done with others - even a guy we did not even draft). Was MM lying when he said that he had a great talk with EM on Monday or when he said that EM never showed up??? I have a bit of inside information on this (but I am not going to bother reporting it because posters tend to trash others for quoting unnamed sources). It does really make any difference at this point. People already have their minds made up.

I am just happy that my three favorite teams are not in the same group: USA (of course), the Netherlands, and England.

I have no idea if this is true. I do know, however, that JJ has a bitter taste in his mouth about the way his career ended in Miami. What better way than to change the end to his career than with one of the Dolphins' bitter rivals. Whatever you might think about JJ, he would create a lot of excitement for the fans and for FA's who might not otherwise want to sign with the Bills (especially with the current HC and GM). One final thought. Ralph is getting up there in age as everyone knows. He would love to win a Super Bowl. It would not surprise me if he did something like this. It would not surprise me one bit.

I have a friend from Milan. He and I watched the world cup finals against Brazil with about 200 crazy Italians. We were in a hotel on South Beach. It was a lot of fun until the end. There was complete silence in the room. All of a sudden, I heard a tremendous racket outside. There were all of these Brazilians parading up and down Ocean Drive. It was quite a scene. There also a lot of beautiful Italian and Brazilian women. Fun was had by all.

You are correct that I liked RJ better than Flutie. I still do. It would have been interesting to see what RJ could have done with an adequate line -- just like it would have been interesting to see what DB could have done and what JP could do if only we had a decent line. Flutie did some good things with the Bills. Yet, to attribute our win loss record to him ignores reality and is a slight to all of the other players on the team -- especially on defense. That is one of the reasons why he was not much liked in the locker room.

The eleven little Fluties on defense were especially responsible for our record.

I love Globetrekker. It was one of the best shows on televisions. I am sorry that I missed Cream. I hope that they show it again.

It is an easy decision. Play the hot goaltender. Let the two of them compete. Don't hand the job to one guy or the other just because the fans that B word the most prefer one over the other.

This whole mess makes MM look foolish -- especially in light of the way he treats Sam Adams and WM. The whole thing is going to back fire on him. The thing that kills me is that MM said that he had a good talk with EM on Monday and then the Bills leak that EM did not show up for a mandatory meeting. Very, very odd.
