I see you have no response to Willis outperforming OJ et al behind a piss poor line. Do yourself a favor. Take a look at our games and check out what percentage of the time first contact is BEHIND the line of scrimmage.

It is nice to see some sanity on this board now and again.

Plain and simple, the Buffalo Bills are a better team with EM than without him. There is no doubt that we should try to keep him if we can sign him at a market contract. If it were not so sad, it would be humorous reading all of these posters going out of their way to bash EM. I am sure it has something to do with the perceived slight of Losman.

Oh yeah, he is "average." He is the fastest Bufalo Bill RB to reach 2,000 yards in his career (faster than OJ, Thurman, Joe Cribbs et al). He also is playing behind one of the worst lines in Buffalo Bills history. He also has done it without getting that many carries. Go ahead. Keep on saying he is average. If you say it enough times, you may even begin to believe it yourself.

. . . and he always comes back for more. Have you ever played football? Have you ever played RB? RBs get hit more than anybody else on the field during the course of a game. The guy came back from one of the most serious football injuries that one could imagine. It is very easy for someone to type on his keyboard that a guy should suck it up. It is a lot more difficult to come back from what he had to overcome. As one poster said earlier in the week, most of the people on this board who probably kill themselves doing one of Willis' daily workouts. Again, you are being ridiculous with your ciritcism of WM.

I agree with your first observation about frustration with TD. We shall see about the latter observation. He can play. He is tough. He played at a high level in college against some pretty darn good teams. If people want to criticize TD, he deserves a lot of criticism. Let's not engage in fratricide with a kid who has played a handful of games.

I really do not understand this Roscoe bashing. It makes no sense to me. The kid got hit and got right back up. Gee, have any of you ever seen a wr get hit before. The kid is tough -- a lot tougher than some of the whingers on this board. Roscoe has been active for a handful of games. I have no doubt that he is going to contribute a lot to this team. It seems to me that the bashing of him is similar to the bashing of Willis on this board -- it has nothing to do with what is happening on the field.

It would be nice if the D would let the O get on the field. I knew it was bad, but I had no idea that we had not stopped a third or fourth and one prior to this game. That pretty much says it all. Somewhere in Minnesota, Pat Williams is laughing.

I was on pins and needles during the third. It is like watching them in the playoffs. You got to love this team. I cannot wait to see them in person when I am back in Buffalo for Christmas.

He has not shown much to make me optimistic. Yet, it is so difficult to tell with the offensive line woes and the team playing horribly as a whole. So far, I am not convinced that he is the answer. I hope that he is given how much we have invested in him. Yet, the Bills made a horrible mistake giving him the job when he was not ready and without upgrading the line. We had a fine quarterback. We should have uprgraded the line several years ago. We have not done him, Willis or anyone else any favors by fielding a horrible offensive line.

What is the current "in the crease rule"? On the no goal, there were three Penguins in the crease at one time or another. Does anyone know the current rule? It used to be that you could not be in the crease unless you had possession of the puck (and unless it was game 6 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in Buffalo). I recall that they changed it so that it is not as strict as it used to be.

The kid is good, but giving him the A at this stage in his career makes no sense for the team or for him. I also agree about the No Goal.
