  1. Very good question. My recollection is that it was no secret that TD wanted Wade gone before he would take the job so that he could hire his own guy. Wade would be a huge upgrade over Mularkey. I doubt that it would ever happen unless he and Ralph have settled their differences.
  2. There is no doubt in my mind that one of the Sullivan sycophants on this board is actually the whinger himself.
  3. This makes a lot of sense.
  4. U2 - Rattle and Hum Pearl Jam - New York Concert
  5. I am glad that they are taking their time to decide his fate. He should not be given a pass. I had high hopes for MM. I really think that we got what we paid for with him. He was a second tier coaching candidate who may not have survived in Pittsburgh. If he stays, he has a long way to go to prove himself.
  6. Sounds about right to me.
  7. You are absolutely correct. The only exception is Octopussy. Bond. James Bond.
  8. I should have mentioned that it is in 3D as well. It was unbelievable.
  9. I agree. For those of you that don't know, he was converted from tight end and has been a great left tackle in college. He would have been a top pick before his injury last year. Because of his injury, he stayed for his senior year, and he has come on strong. The Va. Tech. game is a great example. How his skills translate to the pro game, we shall see. He has all of the tools though.
  10. For those of you that have seen it, do you think that it would be too scary for a 3 and 1/2 year old. We were thinking of taking my son, but thought that it might be too much for him. Let me know what you think.
  11. We are in Buffalo for Christmas visiting family. We took my son to see Polar Express at the Regal IMAX on Transit. It was really well done. If you have kids, they probably would really enjoy it. The IMAX version is great.
  12. Check out Winston as well when the Canes play LSU. He had a great year last year before his injury. He took some time to get back to his pre-injury level, but is coming along nicely. LSU should be a good test for him.
  13. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
  14. If the caller was a jerk, I have no problem with TD calling him a jerk. I have a problem with TD putting together a dominating offensive and defensive line. If he is around beyond this year, I hope he learned his lesson.
  15. RIP
  16. You said that you could not remember. That was the last time. P.S. If you saw the Broncos game, I don't see how you could have missed it. They replayed it, and Sterling Sharpe even commented on the move he put on Champ Bailey.
  17. TD has done some very good things and some not so good things. In my opinion, his biggest failures have been his choices for HC. I was not terribly excited about GW when he was hired, but he certainly had the "credentials" as a DC. I do not miss him and never really was a big fan. MM, on the other hand, was the OC of the 25th best offense in the league before he was hired. We chose him instead of Charlie Weiss. That still boggles the mind. Nevertheless, I had high hopes for MM. I thought that he showed a steady hand last year and did not panic after the bad start. This year, however, he has lost the team. He has singled out the wrong players and has picked fights with guys like Moulds. If MM remains he coach, I think that it is going to be difficult given the way he lost well respected players on this team. I don't know what the answer is right now. When TD came in, I never dreamed that we would be where we are. I would hate to make a move just for the sake of making a move. If he and MM are let go, I really hope that Ralph hires people that know what they are doing and are well respected. Otherwise, it is going to be difficult to turn this team around quickly. If they are not let go, the Bills are going to have to do something in the off season to give the fans some hope. If not, I really fear that season tickets are going to go down. We really need season tickets to be at a high level so that there is no reason (God forbid) to move the team. Ralph is getting up there. We have no idea who the next owner will be. I hope Ralph is around for a very long time. He (and we) deserve to win a Super Bowl. I just hope that he gets some good information on what is, in fact, happening internally with this team and makes the right decision. If TD is around, I really hope that he has learned his lesson and realizes that games are won at the line of scrimmage.
  18. Because some of you guys are obsessed with whether "long" runs are the mark of a great running back, let's put things in perspective. The following are the longest runs by season for one of the greatest backs to play for the Buffalo Bills and in the NFL: YEAR LONGEST RUN 1988 37 1989 38 1990 80 1991 33 1992 44 1993 27 1994 29 1995 49 1996 36 1997 24 1998 26 1999 10 2000 25
  19. I guess you did not see the Broncos game and the juke he put on Champ Bailey.
  20. J-E-T-S (I feel dirty saying it, but it is a must lose game)
  21. Have you ever actually been to the Ralph? In case you have not, there is a little thing called wind and it swirls from all different directions. You guys are just looking for nits to pick. Roscoe is actually one of the leading punt returners in the league. Roscoe is tied for third in the league in punt returns and fifth in the league in kickoff returns. Go ahead and bash him though if that makes you feel better.
  22. I love and miss Buffalo and still consider myself a Buffalonian even though I am down here in Miami. Wouldn't it be great if all of the people who have moved from Buffalo could have their same jobs in Buffalo. It is sad, because (based on my discussions with other people from Buffalo), most people who have left would love to still live there.
