  1. You have to love this team. Everyone is coming up big. They are more exciting than they have been in a long time. I am extremely impressed with both Marty and RM. They are playing lights out. I hope that the Sabres keep both of these guys (unless someone offers them the moon). There is no reason to make a trade for the sake of making a trade. These guys seem to get along and inspire each other. Thank you Sabres.
  2. Want to know a little something? Ole Bill Belichick has a losing record as a HC without Tom Brady and has not won a playoff game without Adam V. These types of things can be twisted any way you want. Both Bill Parcells and Bill Belichick are GREAT coaches and stand head and shoulders over what we have.
  3. Is there a quota on daily posts bashing Roscoe? Give the guy a break. He was playing great in training camp, got hurt, and has appeared in a handful of games. How many games did it take Lee Evans to get going last year (without coming back from an injury)? In fact, what happened to Lee Evans last Saturday? These posts bashing Roscoe got old a long time ago.
  4. You may want to look again. They both have looked much better than JP. I just hope that JP can get it together and that the Bills can finally assemble an o-line that can protect the QB and create running room for our RBs.
  5. I would still take DB (and a good offensive line) over JP (and a good offensive line) any day of the week.
  6. He would be an upgrade for sure.
  7. I heard him sing God Bless America on Sirius radio before the game the other night. It was very moving. He has a great voice. His story also is very moving. He was a great free agent pick up
  8. Anybody who willingly stands behind our offensive line, by definition, has a lot of guts.
  9. Tim Russert's closing comment on Meet the Press today: "Sorry about those Bills, but how about those Sabres." I always love when Tim mentions Buffalo, the Bills, and the Sabres. It is too bad that he (and we) do not have too much to cheer about with the Bills. Yet, how about those Sabres!!!! I am glad that we do have the Sabres to cheer about. I cannot wait to see the Sabres live when I go home for Christmas.
  10. I was at a Christmas party with my wife and son so I did not see the game. Looking at the stats, it looks like DB and the Cowpokes did not have a good game.
  11. How does that explain Lee's dropped passes?
  12. This is a reflection on how the Pats coaches outclass our coaches. If you watch the Pats, you will notice that Brady has much more time and Dillon has much more room within which to operate. On a related note, the Pats secondary has been decimated by injuries. Yet, they somehow seem to get the job done. The Pats coaching staff is outstanding.
  13. Holcomb has looked much better than JP. The jury is still out on JP, but I am not particularly optimistic. It is difficult to tell with the line that we have and the horrible play of the team as a whole. It would help both QBs if the D could get off the field and the offense had more opportunities. I am sure that 49er fans did not mind the dinks and dunks when Montana was there. Holcomb is forced to take what is there. He obviously is not the QB of the "future." I have no idea whether JP is either. Yet, let's not be overly critical of Holcomb for doing his job. He is a very good back up who is capable of coming in as the starter. I wish the JP supporters did not feel so compelled to trash Holcomb for doing what he was brought in to do.
  14. Willis had 8 carries last week and 9 carries last night. He averaged 4 yards per carry last night.
  15. How many of those were dropped passes?
  16. Last night. You must not have been watching.
  17. TD must have pictures of some of those guys with barn animals.
  18. Is there ever a corner?!? I was watching the Pats game today. The Pats line always seems to get the push and create the edge. Our line, on the other hand, always seems to be pushed back into our backfield.
  19. For some reason, I think that you are right and that he is likely to end up with the Pats if we let him go. What a nightmare that would be.
  20. That stat explains our whole season on defense. I knew it was bad, but did not realize it was that bad. At least the team practices well (as MM always says). Now that I think of it, it all makes sense because we are playing against ourselves in practice.
  21. Don't worry. If he does leave, a lot of guys who bashed him will see next year what a mistake it was to let him go just like the guys who were bashing DB and Pat Williams. Remember how many people posted that Pat was all washed up and that he did not play that many plays last year. Minnesota is laughing at us as they are competing for a playoff spot.
  22. Apparently NOT. It was a TD. He crossed the goal line. He did not trip over the hash like TH did against the Raiders last year.
  23. How did that work out for the Bills?
  24. Your are exactly right. I relish the glimpses of sanity on this board when the whingers seem to be the only ones posting.
  25. Now you are complaining about a touchdown. The last time I checked, it was six points.
