  1. I truly dislike the term. I live in Wisconsin, a few years ago a when I went to the Bills/Packers game. A Packer fan came up to me and started asking me if I was a member of the Bills Mafia and if jump through tables like the people on in the internet do. I told him no and he kept following me anyways. Hell, he only stopped following me because he saw someone wearing a OJ Simpson jersey and began to bug him. However, I do agree that this term is not going away. It has given the people that use the term notoriety, through the players using it and members of the media using it. I'm really not sure why every fan base needs a pet nickname for themselves (The Dawg Pound, Ravens Flock, Cheeseheads, Gang Green, etc..).
  2. I was wondering why the site stopped putting players on the banner?? I always enjoyed seeing a different player on there every few months.
  3. They gotta do something, that non-conference schedule is a joke, and kept them out of the tourney!!!
  4. I think what hurt Syracuse was the lack of non-conference wins. Looking at their schedule, the only good non-conference win they have is against Holy Cross. For those who say they played Okie St, Wichita St and Drexel, well, they acutally have to win one of those. Maybe they should acutally schedule a non conference away game for once. Though, they should have gotten in over Stanford and Arkansas
  5. Since we spent 49 million and 18 million in guarantees on a above average guard, my question is this: How much will it cost to re-sign Lee Evans, one of the top 10 WRS in the NFL???
  6. United 93 should have gotten a Best Picture nod, imo
  7. It's not easy to make winners out of expansion franchises. I guess the thing that I really like about Capers is that his team never quit down the stretch. They could have won every game, of course they didn't, but they put up better effort then the Bills did some weeks. As for the Losman/WO thing, I guess what I meant to say: Losman is not Favre, the Bills O will not be as effective as GB.
  8. I honestly don't understand why some of you wanted a coach hired "yesterday". Other then the Raiders, we have no competition. People like Sherman and Haslett aren't going anywhere. I would rather the Bills take their time and interview everyone, then hire someone because everyone else is. I think Capers could be a GREAT coach in Buffalo. I would also like to see the Bills bring in Haslet, Martz and Jim Bates, lets make sure they get it right this time. Explore all options. I live in Wisconsin, and I honestly don't understand the love fest for Sherman. We don't have Brett Favre on our bench ready to save the day. Favre won so many games for him, its crazy. Sherman shoud have had that team in the Super Bowl at least once. Ask any Packer fan around here, and they will say that he totally blew the Philly game a couple of years ago. He could be a good coach in Buffalo, but he isn't a savior. If they do hire him and he brings the West Coast O, its gonna set JP back a couple of seasons, and who knows if he will ever catch on.
  9. Bills | Mularkey to resign? Thu, 12 Jan 2006 12:51:27 -0800 ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Buffalo Bills head coach Mike Mularkey reportedly met with team president Ralph Wilson and general manager Marv Levy Thursday, Jan. 12, about resigning from the head coaching post. The resignation is not forced, as Wilson and Levy are trying to convince him to stay.
  10. Mularkeys family doesn't like the criticism he is taking. Ralph and Marv are trying to talk him out of quiting. All of this is according to Mort.
  11. Mort talking about Mularkey. Might Quit.
