  1. How did he diss us? TD told him that the Bills were giving his job to a near rookie QB without any competition and cut him.
  2. Guess who the whi Buffalo Bills RB was the fastest to gain 2,000 in his career (and he did it behind a piss poor offensive line). Clue: His name was not OJ, Thurman, or Travis.
  3. His score on the telethon was one better than his initial wonderlic score. At least there is a bit of progress.
  4. Don't worry. Some of us understood the point you are making.
  5. Whitehurst at 73 would be a good pick up. I really think that he has potential. He is not NFL game ready yet, but would be a worthwhile QB to develop.
  6. Excellent point.
  7. It appears that anyone who does not agree that JP is the best QB for the Bills or who stands in his way will be on their list.
  8. Why would anyone give up their season tickets because of JP (or any other individual player)? I was a Bills fan for more than three decades before JP became a Bill, and I will be a Bills fan for many decades after JP leaves the team (whenever that may be).
  9. Agreed. I also wonder whether Marv and Eric have spoken directly about all of this.
  10. We have to win tonight. Period.
  11. I like the original post. EM is better (even at this stage of his career) than any WR in the draft. If a team, like Philly or the others who really need a WR, wants a number one WR who can produce immediately, they should pay the piper. There is no reason to cut or give up EM for less than adequate compensation. We hold all the cards. We are under no cap pressure to let him go right now. Let's play chicken with these teams and EM. If necessary, we can force EM's hands by retaining him.
  12. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people on this board that are whingers. All in all, however, I think that you will enjoy this community as long as you do not take the whingers too seriously.
  13. Given TO's contract with the Cowboys, is EM really being too unreasonable? EM is clearly the best WR we have. Unless Lee Evans has a break out year, LE only benefits from having EM around to take the double coverages. As far as I am concerned, the Bills hold all the cards in this as long as his contract is under the cap. If I were calling the shots, I would keep him on the roster for as long as he fits under the cap. I would never trade him to the Pats or let him go to another division rival. If it turns out we need the extra cap space later, I would wait until then to make the decision. By that time, the other teams will have spent their money and, as each day goes by, EM's position gets worse and worse. In any event, there is no reason to jump the gun now unless some team offers us something that we just cannot refuse. If we do trade or release him though, he will be missed.
  14. Don't let the whingers get you down. The McGahee story is a truly inspirational story. The guy has shown a lot of courage. I have found that most of the criticism of him has been non-football related. He was the fastest Bills RB to reach 2,000 yards. Faster than OJ. Faster than Thurman. Faster than Cookie. Faster than everyone else. He did that with a piss poor offensive line and a head coach who took him out of most games on third downs. He came back from what could have been a career ending injury. He bought a house in Buffalo (a lot of posters claimed he wanted nothing to do with Buffalo). He did not hold out this year (a lot of posters claimed that he would do that or demand to be traded) I think that he will be a special back. Again, don't let the whingers get you down. Welcome aboard. I think that you will enjoy this community as long as you don't let the "Jerry Sullivans" of the board wear you down.
  15. Maybe the Willis bashers will give it a rest. We can only hope.
  16. Do any of you guys know whether the Cowboys are paying him more or less than what he was going to get under his previous contract with the Eagles?
  17. I think that the key to solving the riddle is to ask yourself what was the biggest decision that the Bills made last off season.
  18. As long as she wants to keep the Bills in Buffalo.
  19. I saw Bunkley in the combine. The guy is a monster.
  20. God bless your mother-in-law and your family.
