  1. The Chin even gave the Gailey hire his seal of apporval. Then they bring in Wannacrap and you would have thought, the Bills would win it all. Even the boneheaded ESPN blogger James Walker picked the Bills as his sleeper pick. This new set of coaches has just as many question marks as any other in recent memory. If not more. The OC probably still gets carded buying a 6 pack. The old Gm, is here and Brandon has proved zero as a football mind. But he can sell off home games like no one else. No Kool aid for me. I wish the new staff good luck, but there are way too many questions. Thankfully, it appears the Bills will win the paper off season title yet again. It means so much until kickoff of the first game.
  2. Last I checked "seedy" can be used for about any town in the USA because of drug problems. But if Santa Cruz is considered seedy, then surfer dudes and hot college chicks have a new ID.
  3. The big difference between the Sabres and Bills. Is, the Sabres although clumsily are actually committed to not only winning. But winning it all. This years (and last) are not an accurate predictor of the teams future. The new owner is going through the learning curve (slowly). He has said multiple times his dream of bringing the cup to B-Lo. He's committed. Ralph, has never said anything near that. He has given the standard lip service over his 52+ years though. Most long time fans don't buy it, or at the least have loads of skepticism. The new regime brings plenty of questions. Brandon being the big one. He was a GM, how was that? Now, even higher up the Bills food chain. he keeps a GM who has demonstrated very little savvy in his first crack at GM. The entire scouting department is suspect. Whaley's recent comments bring little comfort of him being capable of being a successful GM. The parade for winning the Stanly cup, will happen before a Lombardi travels in a parade in Buffalo. Personally, I hope I'm still alive to see it. Either or will do.
  4. That might be a overstatement. But, my friends and family who have religiously purchasedseason tickets forever, Are in a wait and see pattern because not one of them will pay for club seats to see Fritz as a starter. I believe they are not alone. It's one thing to sit in the rockpile for 25 bucks a game. It's quite another to lay out $275 a pop and see a below average back up taking the snaps. For yet another guaranteed losing campaign. Brandon is not a football man at all. He is a marketing guy, the current situation is not lost on him. He will have loads of inventory this year either way. With Fritz as a starter besides the home opener, it's doubtful how many sellouts will happen at the Ralph. Old timers are fed up. People who like medicore play might be catching on too. Tailgating is fun, but a winning team is what many really come out too see. Enough is enough. Fire Nix Now!
  5. Just like the Bills. The Sabres were only cleaning the basement, instead of the house. Both teams forgot or won't can the GM's, thus insuring more of the same mediocrity (A Buffalo Tradition).
  6. The douchebag greatest wide receiver ever, was cut, then cleared waivers. The rams signed him and then cut him 9 days later. If the Bills are interested they can have them shortly. But I hope not.
  7. You forgot that old Paul McCartney dude. Who at the ripe age of 70 said. he was quitting smoking pot after smoking his entire life. Maybe, if those guys didn't smoke dope their band would have lasted longer than 9 years? Losers!
  8. You forgot Brian Brohm. Who is out of the league. Well actually half of them are. Thanks, Nix!
  9. Time for a change. I've heard Chan Gailey is an offensive minded coach.........wait.
  10. Yea, that was on purpose. When they signed Metz, many here remembered the good old days, and truly believed he could do the same as a position coach. The problem was he needed some talent, and past Chandler (who is no star) he had zero to work with.
  11. Funny, the day Metz was signed. This board at the time treated it like the Bills had just signed the illegitimate spawn of Bill Walsh. Now, other than maybe a poor choice of words. He's an A-Hole? Wow!Myself, I have zero problems with his statements. Maybe he said the same at his exit interview? I hope so. It's the truth. I'm sure if the interview questions had been forwarded to Metz 24 hours in advance. His answers may have sounded more PC. After all he's not a Harvard grad.
  12. After some serious thought. I think it might be a good idea to team up with the Kate's on the island.Since their both from the other side of the pond. They might hit it off smashingly..... But the first sign of your Kate wanting to be treated like a princess. My Kate and I are out of there. And I'm taking the Abalone with us. Tally Ho.
  13. Implies, means what? An educated guess. Unless something develops. It's doubtful a rook from this mediocre QB class takes over the current QB roster. Few would believe the Bills are a suddenly forward thinking franchise, and breaking new ground in the NFL..With the ability to stockpile Qb's, and find one in year one of a new and green regime.
  14. Surprise! Some bobbleheads had T-Jax as the second best option QB in free agency. And, If he signed at 4.5 mil. That is not chump change, in fact a bump from 2012. For the dude in street clothes under Gailey's last pathetic stand. The Bills may have overpaid to keep him out of F agency. It is what it is. I would think at around 13 mil The Bills 2013 QB roster is taking shape. No matter how horrible it is. Top 5 pick in 2014!
  15. Seriously though, can Corp possibly be better than Edwards, Lossman, Thigpen, Brohm, Levi Brown, etc.? Even for camp fodder this signing stinks. What possible value does this guy bring to the team? It also has Nix's fingerprints on it, based on Corp's 17 day Bills stint last year.
  16. In his prime. He was the best dam punt catcher in the league. Another Billwho gave his all, only to be burned by crappy teams, year in and year out. Thanks, and Good Luck #24!!!!!!! 24 could stop at full speed and do a 180 on a dime. He was the best.
  17. 1) Kate Beckinsale 2) red Abalone 3) screw tv. Electric Ladyland (Hendrix) played through a old Mcintosh tube stereo.
  18. She's a physco, some people are attracted to them. She will get plenty of correspondence, once she settles in her pen.
  19. Don't ever underestimate an old southern lifelong scout, promoted to a position way over his head.By a bumbling franchise. It's Buddy Nix & friends, doing this Fitz love krap.
  20. or a weed dispensary. The mark up from the wholesale level is absurd. So I'm told.
  21. I stand corrected. he started in one, and IMO has no place on a Bills hall of shame. His coaches in B-lo do though.Far from a great player he was very durable and until 09 played for years without missing a start.
  22. From the fairly long list of Buddy's busts. I thought Sheppard had potential. What happened to the kid?
  23. For a fan base of a team that holds the current record for post season futility. Any player is fair game. This team is stuffed full of mediocre or worse, both starters and backups. Kelsay at 5 million a year even as a backup, is fair game. really, players like him are the reason the team sucks. Nice guy, cool lunch pails whatever. It is what it is. Kelsay's backup role began just last season. before that he was on the suckiest D-lines in franchise history. Just like last years.
  24. Yea, Mike Gandy the guy with a super bowl ring.
