  1. Hurrah!! For continued mediocrity, and overpaying for it. Get your popcorn ready.
  2. Guilty as charged! Dam you guys are quick.
  3. My source who wishes to remain anonymous for his/her protection. Based it on 21 century historical averages with the Bills franchise.
  4. What are the chances of him not being correct with this scoop? In the 2013 NFL season the Buffalo Bills will play exactly 20 games. 4 pre-season along with 16 regular season games. Of which only seven will be regular season home games. No more no less.
  5. Moore will be one of the first QB free agents signed. If the plan is to cut Fritz and sign Moore, I'm in. I think he could average 6 wins a season as good as the next guy. A fresh face is sorely needed for Fritz and all involved. Without a new starting QB, it's going to be a tough sell for Russ Brandons beloved inventory this year.
  6. For those somewhat new to collecting post death Hendrix music. An awesome Acoustic version of Hear my Train a coming was released in 1973. I think it's easily found on the internet tubes. It was in a Hendrix movie back then. To my knowledge the only other time Hendrix even played an acoustic on a album was a backing track on All Along the Watchtower (electric ladyland). Isabella has been released in different forms countless times since his death. He even was playing it live sporadically in 1970. Although nothing is really new here for long time collectors. Different versions are present on many of the tunes. What is nice is they are cleaned up and really worth their price. For Hendrix freaks who need it all. the "Target" special edition of this new release contains TWO additional tunes. The remaining unreleased gold in Jimi's vast recordings is in the Chas Chandler tapes. Chas discovered Hendrix and was the Bass player from the animals. He tragically died while negotiating releasing the tapes with the Hendrix estate. Things went south and they are only available in the many bootleg forms. Maybe the two sides will someday come to their senses. Apparently Chandler was the sole owner of the tapes. In the future the Jimi Hendrix /John Mclaughlin "Apartment Jam" will be released. Hendrix playing in a completely different style.
  7. .500? Most here would be happy with the lofty 7-9 Jauron teams. The ones that had "very little" talent when Nix got here.Man those were the days! Like when Fritz was sitting on the bench and hired as strictly a backup by DJ. Good times, those were games you could nap through 3 quarters and not miss a thing. Maybe this season will hit that magical mark, but nothing to date indicates that. Most fans are stressed over the potential loss of a above average guard, after the team overpays for an above average DE last off season. Nix will mire this team even deeper with another yet bizarre draft to look forward to. I wonder what track star he will move up to get this year?
  8. Maybe for stealing around 6 mil of Ralph's money?
  9. The article while not giving much info was grammatically correct, and did have some nix quotes.None of which could ever be accomplished by the esteemed writer James Walker. Reading it one is forced too see that it is a cut and paste from the AP. Then with the easiest of searches, one can see that it was authored by J.Wawrow. Thankfully for anyone that reads the ESPN AFCE blog they are blessed with yet another James Walker vacation for a few weeks.
  10. Old school episodes, do not hold up? Well, everyone has an opinion. What sucks with SNL is the terrible hosts of late. Justin Beiber? Really, isn't his "target" audience in bed by 11:30? Ditto with Li-Lo, and others. The dude last Saturday was bad by anyone's tastes in any demographic. 2 Skits and the news were passable. Neither of the funny skits had the host in them. But some of the old-time cast members still there, like Bill Hader, Kevin Thompson, and a few of the females are as good as they get in any era. Bill Hader himself has held SNL together thru some very lean times. Lorne Michael's should consider retiring with his huge bank account. Want a great SNL Lorne? Show Chris Rock a blank check and let him fill in the zeroes, and then their will be a SNL with some laughs for 90 minutes instead of 10.
  11. If not for Nix, he would have retired 3 years ago. He brought zero to the field as a Bill.
  12. That's odd. THREE of the FIVE offensive lineman starting for the superbowl San Francisco 49ers.Were drafted in the first round.
  13. How is one permitted to show up for a court appearance "wearing only a garbage bag"? Although appropriate for this tool, it seems kind of odd.
  14. Well, there is the easy off season workout schedule.
  15. Good points. Byrd has said winning is important to him. He gets a year to gauge the direction of the new regime.Too many people think with both Byrd and Levitre it's all about money. Good chance playing on a good team. A playoff team, is as important to some players. They get paid no matter where they play. Why not play for a winner? Look how Evans, McGee and Kelsay, to name but a select few, spent their careers. On Bills teams that never had a chance. Even Kyle Williams at the end of the last season, talked about all the work that goes into a season. And playing for the bills (so far) has had zero payoff. Money is a motivator, but so is playing for a team that actually has a chance at winning more than 6 games.
  16. Quite possibly Brandon bought drinks and dinner for Bucky Gleason at the combine. How else does one of the worst GM in the NFL get a pass?
  17. In regards to Dareus. One has to wonder his level of commitment last year. He came from a extremely successful college program. He was used to being on a winning program. He is a winner! Then he's picked 3rd by the Bills (one pick I do not hold against Nix).Dareus is immediately thrown into the painful coaching combo of Gailey/Edwards/Stache. Then, last season he seems to come into camp somewhat fat and out of shape. Stays that way, and loses his brother. Combine that with possibly a sense of hopelessness, due to inept coaching, and being really young. He obviously regressed. Marrone and his THIRD DC (in 3 years) need to re-instill some faith and give the kid some hope, that the team is turning a corner. He may re-commit and dominate in the NFL. If not he will wait until his rookie contract is over and do it somewhere else.
  18. Personally, I think the Bisons are going to kick butt this year. The sabres would have a asterisk next to a cup win this season thanks to the lockout. No Thanks. I'll wait. The Bills are a bit harder to gauge. The yearly win against KC is even questionable now. Playoff run by 15, or they may have to think about rebuilding...............................
  19. For some reason I paid particular attention to 94's performance in the last 2 games. The fish & Jets.It was clear he was playing at quarter throttle if that. The whole D looked demoralized. And we even won the last game. Coaching had to be the reason.
  20. Please just cut him and eat it. We are going nowhere with or without him. As for the thoughts of keeping him around as a mentor. Mentor what? How to lose in the last 2 minutes? How to throw a 10 yard dirtball to a wide open 6'7"TE? Anyone here excited about paying money to go to the Ralph and see the same old tired act yet again? I say Brandon doesn't have the balls to field that loser as a starter in 13.If he does he's way dumber than most give him credit for.
  21. Hey,thanks for your meaningless lip service Russ. You still aren't prying much new money out of old fans pockets. Until you actually do something. Talk is cheap Russ. And you are the problem not the solution. rant out.
  22. That tool was just a rung or two up the ladder from a child molester. It's a small comfort that taxpayers won't be burdened with any future maintenance costs.
