  1. Probably true. But packaging a couple to move up is a possibility. I cannot imagine even 8 of 15 drafted players sticking on that team.
  2. The niners have made ZERO offers for that rehabbing douche. A one year rental for a superbowl contendingteam makes zero sense. The niners may end up with as many as 15 draft picks. There are plenty of corner prospects when a team has that type of collateral. They will rule the draft and can trade to their hearts desire. A media fabrication on Revis to the Niners was actually squashed by the ESPN bobbleheads today. Yet people continue to believe rumor that I'm sure Harbaugh got a great laugh over.
  3. Earplugs, a complete tunes collection, and a 6 year supply of Belvedere and Crown . Then, it's doable. Hidden and out of the way.Just for the lady, during the rough patches. A machine that can generate, chocolates or some flowers.
  4. A Bellicheck quote would be close to:"Historically, the Bills always play us tough. I expect coach Marrone's teamwill be no different".
  5. That, and he sacked Tebow in 2011. Maybe twice that day. it was career highlight game. After the game hestuck up for the much maligned DC Edwards. The Bills even won the game! Good Times!
  6. I wonder why it's no longer Robert Randolph and the family band? Did he fire his family? Saw him in 07 before Clapton's Crossroads in a Chi-town club. They blew the doors off the joint.
  7. Chris kelsay? What position did he play?
  8. Someone else already mentioned WKRP. I second that. SOAP should be there also.
  9. Very smart move by Brady. Restructuring to peanuts (for him) sets him up to receive alimony from his wife, should they divorce post football. She makes more in 6 weeks than he does in a year. Millions a year in alimony plus a house with a moat. Priceless.
  10. EK has had his hands on everything Hendrix. Both during and post death. Sometimes with disastrous results, especially right after his death, Eddie took artistic license to "finish" some tunes the way he thought Hendrix would have.He along with Chas Chandlers estate (RIP) has possession of virtually all Hendrix unreleased material. All of which has traveled in musician/collectors circles for decades. His partnership with Jimi's half sister owner of the Hendrix estate allows him to release the "new" material. Better than nothing, at least it's cleaned up now.
  11. Calling Walker a writer is an insult to hacks Everywhere. He excels in cut and pasting in space. That's when he "scoops" a story 3 days late. He also owns a degree in journalism which makes one wonder if they just hand them out these days? I don't believe ESPN would even pay a writer like him. He probably gets NFL network and the Sunday red zone package as a perk in lieu of actual money. Tim Graham is missed in that blog.
  12. The situation you cite may be true. But, This season is more than a coaching staff change. The pressure of fielding a winner extends right to the new CEO. Brandon's talent lies in marketing. He could sell sand in the desert, to a man dying of thirst. His GM is clearly not good, and old school. The Whaley "extension" announcement was perfectly timed at a league event for maximum exposure for a team this has been a laughing stock for well over a decade. The Bills desperately seek respect. Anything will do for now. Marrones comments on being tight lipped on Syracuse players is kind of funny. Since except for the 2 or 3 players in the past. Syracuse is not a huge NFL machine, like say Penn state once was. Or the SEC.Marrone may be the best hire since Saban. But, that will take more than one or even 2 years to settle out. Cutting B-grade talent, having no QB worth his salt, having a DE that they wildly overspent (how many good players could that 50 mil guarantee have got the team this year?) Also, the draft I hear is deep in DE's making the shortsighted Nix move even laughable. The team will indeed sell this season as a rebuild. Even the remark that Mclovin will start by Nix makes me cringe. This team has very, very few franchise type players on either side of the ball. As crazy at it may seem, the dullphins are on a better track to take over the pats* than the Bills are. This team has to be rebuilt to win in the division Maybe Marrone actually understands the concept. He's not getting any money from a lot of fans I know until someone proves these moves are intelligent.
  13. Hey Ryan! Thanks for checking in. Actually truth be told you have sucked your entire career. Nowdon't get all upset and shave your beard or some other crazy thing. But it's the truth you know it, and everyone in the league knows it. But really a lot of us have seen way more than we ever needed too. you're a career loser. Good luck on Wall Street though. You got a lot of money that was misspent by a old GM. Save it. If you need to try and save face, accept vets minimum on any team not named the Buffalo Bills in the future.
  14. If Buddy Ryan likes his feet. He could move up too.
  15. WOW, the new regime is letting mediocre UDFA receiver(s) walk. Who would have thunk it? Could they be replaced by 9/9/13? Let's hope so. Most likely 2 of 3 will be unemployed after final cut downs anyways. Players like Donald, David, Ruvell, etc. were part of the problem, not the solution. What is so hard to understand with this fanbase. Is it because some are so accustomed to sucky players, that they actually believe they are NFL caliber players? Does 5-11 6-10 6-10 mean anything, besides being a perennial 7-9 team before even that run?
  16. If he's any relation to the late great, singer, keyboard player Richard Manuel (the Band) Get er done, Doug!
  17. The thing with GW was that he worked very hard for his moderate success. He was a natural leader as opposed to some who after signing big contracts proclaim they want to be leaders. Another of the few Bills that deserved to be on better coached teams in Buffalo. It was asign of respect cutting him early, and getting signed quickly. Please OBD don't sign an over the Hill jerk named Scott to replace another aging vet. Let's truly go youth, suck next year, then start making some heads turn.
  18. Naaman back?We need to lock up Ruvell friggin Martin long term. Let's keep some priorities in order here. I believe Ruvell snagged a 13 yard catch in garbage time last season. Get er dun Nix!
  19. I think you may be correct about Lums. I think they were a small chain in NY State. A couple of them in B-Lo.The one we ate at was next to Gilligans Night Club. They had OK food and you could get a beer, but I don't remember a bar. But I do think they did cook their hot dogs in Beer. A lot of musicians ate there at the time. But it was kind of a family place.
  20. Well, there's that. And, who's wife, GF, mistress, MILF, FWB, whatever. While spending the night with you. Locks herself in the bathroom to take a pee in the middle of the night in the dark?
  21. I don't know could David Nelson start on a playoff team? Are there Rookies out there that can easily make Nelson and TJ expendable? As suspect I am of the new regime. Maybe Marrone and staff are truly a great (at least good) judge of NFL talent. In that case expect at least the first year to be typical Bills football. Meaning a lot of losses. But maybe a pre-cursor to finally some competent friggin NFL talent evaluation. And, a team that could win even their first wild card game, should it ever get that far.
  22. I seem to remember there was a big snowstorm in Buffalo that night. We were stranded in a bar across the street from Lum's on Walden. There were many rounds on the house after that win . Good times.
  23. More than once Chandler has dropped passes right off the numbers, outside the red zone. He is a mediocre blocker at best. That said he's probably the best Bills TE in the past 10 years. They need a stud. His ceiling is real close right now.
