  1. Let's re-start the AFL. Send me $25,000 and I'll give you a Buffalo franchise. You can be Ralph Wilson and I'll be Lamar Hunt. Who wants to be Al Davis?
  2. BILLS: Please don't move to Toronto. Make it MUCH farther away!
  3. However, corporate brown-nosing will be encouraged!
  4. Thank you! As much as I like Eric Wood, this is what dooms our team year after year. If this is what we have as veteran leadership, its no wonder we are losing. Perhaps Wood will be the "surprise" cut.
  5. I think you are only partially right. Accountability is a must. If you heard Gannon go off on the Raiders on Sirius, I know where you're coming from. However, I disagree with the top-on-down mentality. Ultimately the accountability rests solely on the players on the field. If they play badly, then it is because of their lack of effort, focus and preparedness. If they false start is it the Owner's fault? When they allow 80 yard runs is it the GM's fault? The answer to each is a clear NO. It is the player or players on the field that screw-up and lose games. That said, it IS the responsibility of the coaches and managers to either get the players to play well and play smart, or to make the tough decisions to eliminate the deadwood and get players who give 100% all the time and don't make dumb mistakes. And, where's the leadership on the field with this team? You can't honestly expect a rookie QB to earn the right to be the leader in his 1st season. That's what this Bills team really is missing. Veteran leadership from guys that won't put up with losing. If Marrone is worth anything, which I believe he is, he and Whaley need to get rid of the older players who are willing to take losing and replace them with veteran leadership. If this alone is accomplished this offseason, the young guys will be fine, including Manuel.
  6. This is really the best news we could ever hope for! LINK: http://pro32.ap.org/article/brandon-bills-review-benefits-toronto-games
  7. How about that 1st down/4th down thing at the end of the Giants-Redskins game? This is prime-time national TV and an obvious and serious officiating screw-up. Maybe this is enough to finally get the full-time officials and Park Avenue involvement we have wanted.
  8. [quote name='FeartheLosing' timestamp='1385557425' post='2987118' A few of the posters in this thread stated before the season started that this O line would be fine with Colin Brown at LG. Clearly the line wasn't fine at all because the Bills cut both starting LG Colin Brown and his backup, and that line is still not fine. It takes a small man to admit he is never wrong... So how do you know if you don't try? Brown had the attributes to be a promising prospect. That's why the Bills kept him around for so long. It didn't work out. Now we move on. Tough luck for Brown and for our OL but not an indictment against anyone. It happens every year on every team at one position or another.
  9. I prefer to look at it as a benchmark of the Bills progress this season. They are finally healthy for once. Rather than win due to another team's misfortune or in this case demoralization, maybe they'll just be the better team and win outright. If they don't then they're not on the rise at all, but rather a team that still can't win winnable games on the road.
  10. Flynn & Rob Johnson are going to make an infomercial "make big money while you sit."
  11. Interestingly enough, all guys many of you ragged on the Bills FO for not drafting or trading away picks for. Tells me a lot about armchair GM's.
  12. Who would you have chosen? Justin Blackmon? Now that would've been the smart choice. It makes me so angry to waste my time with posts like yours!
  13. Interestingly enough, there are some really good players who are available for the right price, ie. Adrian Peterson, Hakeem Nicks, Larry Fitzgerald, Jared Allen etc. Perhaps if Doug Whaley where to consider this an extension of next year's FA period, we might be able to pick-up a player in a Byrd trade that could help the cause. However there aren't any notable OL or DB players being talked about and the cap hit for another top WR or DE wouldn't make much sense. My guess is the Bills will not be players this time around.
  14. I guess big brains don't necessarily go with big bodies.
  15. I heard that Byrd's been hanging out with Josh Freeman.
  16. If these are the same ole Bills then I guess we once again picked the wrong guy #1.
  17. We were toast when McLovin went down. Between Rogers and Searcy we be better off forfeiting.
