  1. The way I saw it the ball did contact the ground but at that time it was secured between his hands... Thus the recent "Tampa Bay game" rule would go into effect.
  2. Sounds like a great time. Sorry I missed out... My company had a picnic today and I had to backfill for some people during those hours. I would have liked to meet Scott and See R. Rich again. I should be seeing many of you on Sunday though
  3. Seymour is more of a DE/DT than DE/LB. He actually is a very thick strong guy that weighs more than most DE's. I agree though that Gallery played fairly poor.
  4. These reports are great (and thanks BTW), but they should really stop taking it a level too far by publishing things like: There is simply no chance of this being true. It would defy all of their plans as well as the reasoning for parting with Drew.
  5. Based on what? The grass is always greener theory?
  6. I thought it was a catch but I'm glad it wasn't overturned
  7. Worrying gets old pretty quick. For now, let's enjoy what is hopefully to be another great season from NC!
  8. A JP scramble into the endzone.
  9. Nice find. Much appreciated
  10. Cool, I'd agree with that line of thinking then.
  11. While LT is certainly the harder position to fill (based on talent), I would strongly disagree IF you are trying to say that TE is an easy position to learn.
  12. It doesn't make sense to you because you fail to accept the fact that it DOES take intelligence to play that position. Intelligence relative to Football atleast. Having experience seeing things in live game situations and making reads on the fly, and finding your way around in "space" are also huge factors to succeeding at the position. I suppose at some point that experience could diminish the need for intelligence here.
  13. Because other than Qb, the hardest position in the NFL to play based on decision making is TE. Peters, atleast according to his college testing, is not very brightly lit bulb and it takes a lot of read/react/ finding seems and zones/adjustable blocking assignments to be a TE. Peters certainly is a gifted athlete, but his mental development to atleast obtain "football smarts" must continue.
  14. That was not a mistake
  15. I wasn't aware that Williams, Kelsay, Denny, and Losman were "underperforming"
  16. Too funny. Even for 1:32 am
  17. ...... The Bills allowed only 15 sacks over the final 10 games (once they got their sh$t together)to a guy who most would claim their Mother could run faster than.
  18. Literally a must win? No. Likely a must win when it all shakes out in the end? I'd say yes. The Texans should give us as good a challenge as did Jacksonville last season.
  19. Good points, though hitting on one long score may or may not be enough as I don't see the Raiders being able to slow the Patriot offense as much as the Patriots will slow theirs. They are old in the middle, average on the edge and lost a very good LB to boot.
  20. The Pats will scheme away the long ball from the Raiders and force them to patiently, methodically move the ball down the field which they will not be able to do. I don't see a chance of the Raiders winning but I'd be happy if they did.
  21. Either that or because they Block better, run better Routes, can get yards after the catch, and play better on special teams in the areas they actually will be used (ie. there's no way Haddad would have returned punts on this team in real games with the guys we have in front of him). All the Wr's in camp at position #3 and down showed some dropsies in camp.
  22. I think you may be right on your speculation G. Host. There's no way Jerman is a better player than Tucker, and Tuck can play center too.
