A fair number of good points you make there.... To clarify a couple things- If I happened to name the teams in order of who are the current top 6 record-wise, it was purely coincidence. Those are teams that I feel are better than the Bills whether based on talent, experienc, or schedule. While I think KH is a better QB right now than JP, I don't think the difference will be enough to get us into the playoffs. I still think NE wins this division, and no wildcard is going to get in from the East IMO. I'm in strong agreement with you regarding the running game

I don't think KH is a bum at all. In fact I think he'll probably fare quite a bit better than JP would have. Still I don't think with either QB that we are a top 6 AFC team, in fact I know we aren't. For that reason, as with the Giants last year, we should sacrifice now in order to have success down the road.

I'm still going to root for the success of the team, that will never change. With that said, I think this (if true) is a terrible move and agree with JSP about how short-sighted it is. In the Big Picture this year, we are not better than the Colts, Jags, Chiefs, Chargers, Steelers, Bengals, or Patriots no matter who we have at QB. So why not play the kid the entire year and let him figure out the game for god's sake?

I understand what I'm watching, and he's quite good. Again , when he's out there... The last place I look for information is via the media.

I can't argue about his pain threshhold at all, but what I do know is that when he's out there and healthy he is our best lineman.

Did everyone miss the part where MM said (I'm paraphrasing) "What I said on sunday has not changed" ? BTW Sunday he said "JP is the starter".

If you listen to the conference , MM merely states that he is not going to answer the same question he's already answered dozens of times. This to me says that JP will start.

VA, he's really not as distraught as you make him out to be. You can watch these interviews on the official site and take much of the speculation out of it.

For pulling a QB that needs to gain experience on the field, win loss or tie. A qb that will never become good unless he is allowed to play it out. I don't mind them pulling him in situations for a "spark", but not letting him start would be the wrong move IMO. I fully except them to start JP, regardless of what the media says.

If Holcomb plays over Losman this week, all bets are off as far as any respect I have for this coaching staff.

As good/not good as Drew has played so far, he's about to be looking at a 2-3 record. So what's changed?

People forget that just about all coaches who are good now had to start somewhere. Some had the opportunity to start off with talented teams, while others did not. Marv was considered a poor to average head coach during his days at KC. BB was run out of Cleveland. There are plenty of further examples of this. While I agree that the Bills have had exhibited some poor play-calling in recent weeks I certainly don't share the "all or nothing" or "black and white" view that many of you experts have regarding our current staff. I find that there are just as many examples of organizations who stuck with their staff even in times of peril, and benefited in the long run as there are teams who eternally shop for the quick fix.
