  1. To me, if it leads to us being able to sign Clements, then it was the right move with PW. Otherwise yes, I miss him. I do think that Edwards has improved his play greatly though.
  2. Was it not Anderson that blew open holes for Willis on his 2 "long" runs (like 12 and 18 yards or something) off left guard? Seriously I don't know. We were up pretty high in the stadium
  3. Was it that Reed ran the wrong way, or did he run his route short of the stick (It was a third down play) ? Either way, it's not acceptable, though it may make a difference in the minds of the coaches. I don't know. JR does play special teams BTW, which might make one atleast pause when considering the validity of that commentary.
  4. Good observation Jay. It's still not bad because any adjustment from your standard form tackling technique that a defender has to make will hinder his ability to wrap up a good NFL RB.
  5. Well as a singer, I know you can project much better in an upright position than in a sitting position. So I would think that would carry over to fan yelling
  6. Exactly, who's talking about standing the whole game? And yes, you can yell louder when standing up.
  7. You must not have heard Bulldog since his AM 930 days. He's no homer anymore. Quite the contrary at times. But hey, he works at WGR...
  8. I missed part I guess some things never change.
  9. Where have you been? This is why teams play so hard to get home field throughout the playoffs and why the percentage of home Wins in the NFL playoffs far outweighs those of road teams.
  10. That's what home field advantage is all about. Even Jim Kelly, after giving a short speech yesterday at halftime, pleaded to the fans to be as loud as absolutely possible when the Texan's offense took the field.
  11. No, that was the behavior of basically every Bills fan during the nineties run of success. We were able to compete with dome stadium volume levels because of this at one time. When the opponent's offense can't audible their chances for success go down significantly (As if you didn't know that already ).
  12. You got it right Rubes (IMO).
  13. I agree it was pretty loud (Hi Nick ) although I will say that it seemed to temper off a bit in the 2nd half. I'm not sure if it was the heat or what but we could have done more to help in the 3rd quarter (but I'm pretty picky). People seemed to bounce back ans get loud again in the 4th.To me, when the Bills are on defense, there are still too many people more caught up with their "rights" as paying fans instead of trying to prevent the opposition from calling audibles on offense. This never used to be a problem.
  14. My father and I had a very good time there pre-game. It was nice to put faces to aliases, and we especially enjoyed Big T's barbeque chicken recipe
  15. I gave the coach a try over on 1180 and was pleasantly surprised. He held off on the axe-grinding and just talked x's and o's . It was the best of the 3 post games by far.
  16. My living room at around 11:00pm Sorry, couldn't resist. I was at the game and now I want to go back and see some things I missed.
  17. Yes, but the Bills had no timeouts left and thus couldn't review the play. BTW, It looked on the jumbo-tron like his foot went out before the ball crossed the plane (hit the pylon)...
  18. I'm out. The Vikes let me down.
  19. Look a little closer and you'll see that the underneath routes were there, they just weren't being thrown to by Collins with much regularity. He is the one that should be questioned here IMO. While it might be true that the primary WR on some of those plays ran deep, there were other guys open such as Jordan in the flat on many of the plays.
  20. I find it funny that these guys who are much farther removed from our team than even the local Buffalo and Rochester beat reporters have all this "inside" info that leaks in these little articles and blurbs around the country. Did Drew tell him this based on last year or something?
  21. The way I saw it the ball did contact the ground but at that time it was secured between his hands... Thus the recent "Tampa Bay game" rule would go into effect.
  22. Sounds like a great time. Sorry I missed out... My company had a picnic today and I had to backfill for some people during those hours. I would have liked to meet Scott and See R. Rich again. I should be seeing many of you on Sunday though
  23. Seymour is more of a DE/DT than DE/LB. He actually is a very thick strong guy that weighs more than most DE's. I agree though that Gallery played fairly poor.
  24. These reports are great (and thanks BTW), but they should really stop taking it a level too far by publishing things like: There is simply no chance of this being true. It would defy all of their plans as well as the reasoning for parting with Drew.
