  1. An explaination for the 3 hrs sir?
  2. Both interesting points to be sure guys, but both points ultimately fall into the hindsight discussions (as I engaged in admitedly) that freckle this board. All I believe you can look at with that is what would you have done, at that time, with only the knowledge at hand then? Cinci was smart to draft Levi for example, but there were evaluators abround who scoffed at the selection as high as it was. I do remember the thought of drafting Larry Johnson at the time and the first thing, right or wrong, that came to me was the curse of the Penn state runningback... which has since been broken.
  3. Willis a mistake? This site can be so surreal sometimes. There are plenty of actual mistakes he made as discussed here previously. This was not one of them. Trade the picks and Willis would have just started challenging Priest Holmes late last season and on into this season, and behind the top rushing line in football would probably have atleast the same yardage as Johnson this season. Johnson is a special football player, NOW. Honestly I'm not sure if Bills fans would have had the patience to allow him to mature for 3 seasons before grabbing the #1 role.
  4. No, those posters have already agreed under a legally binding contract to post "sweet nothings" on the board for a yet undetermined amount of time.
  5. I know at one point he was in charge of all self scouting / team tendencies and statistical evaluations of the team. I'm pretty sure he's had different roles as well. He is a flanders-looking guy though isn't he?
  6. I know it's just the internet, but I still gotta say bravo for this post. No offense to Brad who seems like a pretty cool guy but this really says it well.
  7. because some people like to put things they don't know about into neat little pre-ordained packages. For what reason I have yet to figure out. I seriously laugh at the whole over used "puppet" or "clone" terms.
  8. They haven't. It's absolutely amazing to me that a large group of atleast somewhat intelligent people can come together a go on about a such general reach of a statement made by the media when so much evidence (yes, visual evidence that you can see in each game of team comradery) says this is not so. Sure JP might be a cocky guy, but he is surely a good teammate. To boot, this rumor was first heard from the likes of Pro football talk if you trace it back. Not to sound like TD here but it's almost embarrasing to think that all of you would get so involved in what is utter nonsense.
  9. Wow, and I thought I was alone in this thought, and some of the other thoughts revealed in this thread. Good to know there are some diehard fans that still have a brain stem.
  10. Most accounts say that Winston won't last past the middle of the first round. He has reportedly recovered well from his injury and was back in form near the end of the college season.
  11. Right you are, and the last dick we had at QB turned out to be pretty good.
  12. If the De position was strictly about sacks, then your point would make sense here because it cetainly backs up the opening post, but it isn't just about sacks.
  13. Yeah, plus most of his sacks come against all-pros. How sucky is that? Plus his 71 tackles all come 2 to 3 yards downfield. What's up with that?
  14. I think we should wait and see how things unfold after the 1st 3 choices are off the board. Then make considerations based on who is left. This cost is too high to trade up that high, even from 8.
  15. Thankyou! A mini dynasty has begun. Can't wait for freebee #2. The plates taste better when they are free
  16. Decent link for mock drafts
  17. Well they've both played very well in the last 3 weeks. Moulds and MM have both been asked a million times about it and they are both atleast saying that they had a good discussion and put it behind them. But yeah when I say "the players", I don't think you can assume from that I mean "all 53 players". There's always gonna be turnover.
  18. If anything , I think the players have shown that they want him as coach. (FWIW)
  19. Excuse me? Are you serious here? You did say that Cinci faces Pit right?
  20. I would agree with that. Just not sure if JP really could have played or not...
  21. Agreed. I lost my taste for noodles as well after too much Ramen pride in college Looks like maybe the TD prognosticators might have something based on Ralph's comments... Ralph
  22. reminds me of a certain Steeler game we both attended last season.
  23. I'll take a sniff by saying that the play calling during the past two games has been very good. Seriously * ducks * This game falls on Holcomb, one bad play by the O-line, and a freak special teams play for example. Coaches do not advise high throws into double coverage generally speaking. Nor do they tell special teamers to go out and get swallowed up by blockers.
  24. This is where the argument fails. That is an opinion that cannot be proven true. Maybe one day soon we will find out about JP's 2 injuries in the NE game, but that's all we have right now. If you take the emotion out of the argument there's not much there to go on.
