  1. Dickerson, is that you?
  2. Positives going forward to next season: - Special teams (both coverage and return teams) are set - McGee improving steadily at cb - Milloy playing well again at SS - LB corps should be back to good form and Crowell provides excellent depth, if not a potential starter - Schobel improving steadily - Tim Anderson improving steadily and will atleast provide good depth. - Peters developing quickly at tackle. Could/should be steady at LT with his footwork and quickness. - Reed, Parish, and Evans all playing well. Questions yet unresolved: - O-line needs atleast 2 new players (is Preston one of them?) - Good run-stuffing DT needed - What will become of Moulds? - What will become of Clements? - Will JP take the next step in his development at QB? If some of those questions get answered, we should see better production from the running game and more time in the pocket for our Qb. This all may be an over-simplification but it is how I look at the future overall for this team.
  3. True, but his level of play has certainly exceeded the normal expectations of a "depth" linebacker based on his progress this season.
  4. Excellent post. A good read and very true.
  5. I think Bentley would be the one more likely to leave his current team for obvious reasons, though I think Hutch would be the one who helps this team more. We'd be very lucky to get either.
  6. Geez, if the guy had any more consistency, he'd practically be the number one DE in the league... Wake up and watch closer. The A.S. you speak of played three years ago.
  7. Your theory is laughable garbage, especially under a coach personality like Marvin Lewis.
  8. His biggest advantage right now over JP is his ability to find and utilize the checkdown man. This will change, but for now it's the major difference between the two to me.
  9. Nice analysis Bill, and merry christmas to you and yours. I would like to add that #55 proving some of his doubters wrong of late as he seems to have learned how to shed blockers quite well indeed.
  10. Yep, and he had 2 today vs. what is considered by all on this board to be a very good tackle. Does that give him 11 sacks for the season?
  11. Nate had what they call "trail technique" in a mostly cover 2 scheme today. He got caught up a step slow at times today even so. I've certainly seen worse games but still wasn't overly thrilled with his play. He did make some nice tackles today both in run support and on some flat passes.
  12. the catch wasn't too shabby either aye?
  13. Looks like there might be a chance of you being grumpy all through next season too huh?
  14. Put your tar and feathers on hold just for the holidays mmmkay JSP? geez
  15. Merry !@#$ing christmas everbody! What a gut check for the heart of this team. I'll take it
  16. Lol. You too....
  17. If you don't understand the difference between quick/agile and fast, maybe you shouldn't be commenting with such conviction on the subject. There's plenty to be upset about with this team without manufacturing new things.
  18. Nope. He was never billed as a burner. He was billed for his quickness laterally in open space.
  19. nope. He is among the nfl leaders in punt returns and is learning quickly how to play in the slot at WR. He runs good routes and has shown good hands. He knows how to make people miss in space. These are all facts. Again, I don't like a slot WR with my 2nd round pick, but he certainly has shown that he can be valuable in this league.
  20. Roscoe has been just fine and was never brought in to be expected to be any sort of "savior". I didn't like the choice at the time but he has played as well as could be expected or better.
  21. It's Anderson a lot more than it is McNally.
  22. You mean like those munchkins on the Patriots? Or how about that munchkin in Indy?
  23. Either you are saying that ALL the players drafted under TD while in Pitt left the team right when he did or you are supporting his "theory" with your comments. Look at the lines who started during those years.
  24. Wow, you're on a roll today. Another great post
