That's fair enough. Fact remains, none of us can really say anything credible about him until he has a larger body of work to look at and a line that is atleast functional.

JP's accuracy issues were much more clearly defined early on (in his 1st few games) where he was trying to throw timing passes but had a Hot Pocket clock in his head and ants in his pants. He is a very accurate passer when he doesn't rush and his drop and step are sound. He displayed this much better in his second go'round starting with KC, until being injured (shoulder and leg) early in the NE game which really threw off his accuracy again.

They are purely informational to me. I don't try to gain anything in the theatrics or opinions from the media as they fail us more often than not with their interpretations. In fact I believe they are currently weilding too much influence over the fanbase, whether that is the fault of fans themselves or the media I am not sure.

It's already assumed (by me) that no line is perfect, and I'm aware of the third down efforts by Ben which are impressive, but NO QB will ever succeed here until the O-line is fixed. This has been an issue for atleast 10 years.

They don't. They usually get fired for multiple reasons including the record. Certainly never just due to record alone.

Comparing guys by records alone is an extremely dangerous method for picking a coach. Just like with players, a guy does NOT win or lose any games, he is merely a part of the whole, and it's the team ONLY that carries the win/loss record. If I like Sherman (and I do) I'm gonna point to his game day coaching adjustments, his ability in close games, his team's discipline and his ability to work with his staff along with "his" record.

I know it's nearly impossible to grasp and unpopular, but I would bet that if DJ is picked as our next coach, it's because they think he's the better candidate and are not "settling". I am hoping that Sherman is the guy but I will not pretend that I know that he would do better than DJ.
