  1. I had the same thought when I read that post. The writer didn’t accuse Patricia of anything in the article nor was their anything unfounded as what he reported on is a matter of public record. I have to question both the timing of and motivation behind the article, though. Is it both a hit piece on Patricia and an indictment of the Lions’ vetting process?
  2. Kid is as poised as he is gracious. Hope that translates to the field. I haven’t seen him in a moment that seems too big for him.
  3. Of course reasonable minded Bills fans want to see him succeed. I'm referring to the anti-Allen crowd that has existed since before, during, and after the draft. You know, the "I can't wait to tell you I told you so crowd." They will micro-scrutinize every mistake he makes in rookie camp, OTAs, mini camp, training camp, preseason, etc., just ready to pounce.
  4. Great point here. Any hiccup, ANY, in these camps will be scrutinized and used as ammo for the anti Allen crowd, while any great play will be tossed off as needing to wait until he’s in real games. Funny how that works.
  5. And multiple shoe deals at that. One for each foot. Nike on the left, UnderArmor on the right.
  6. Fun times, indeed. As others have pointed out, the OP said “favorite” not “best”, which are quite different qualifiers. By that measure any number of RBs could head the list and TT is more than worthy on that score. When it comes to best though, few RBs in history, let alone former Bills backs, can hold a candle to Simpson in terms of sheer ability.
  7. All due respect to TT, Shady, and the rest but they don’t come close to what OJ was on the field.
  8. Namath and Stabler are the standard bearers for Alabama QBs and McCarran shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same sentence...unless it’s a sentence that says he shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence.
  9. EJ's atm strength is among the best in history. 8 different bankcards used simultaneously to withdraw the maximum daily limit is off the charts atm strength.
  10. Great stuff. Thanks for posting this. His motivation and determination are off the charts. If I'm Peterman or McCarran, his superior arm and athleticism are the least of my worries when it comes to competing for the job.
  11. We just know it would be Belichick's.
  12. They essentially have that with the still photos they pour over after every series.
  13. Is this coach a proponent of scripting plays to begin a game? And sometimes, there is just no adjusting for being physically dominated and getting your ass kicked. But that's another discussion.
  14. Challenge, yes. Stop? I’ll believe it when I see it.
  15. Did he base this on a Danny McBride character?
  16. Totally forgot about them. Totally OK with the Jets, too. Love their fans.
  17. I’m fine with any of the Caps, Preds, or Knights. Tampa had their turn.
  18. Tre had a few nice plays to be sure and I loved the way he was up for the challenge and the grit he showed vs. such a physically superior player. But at the end of the day, in the two games against us last season, Gronk was targeted 18 times for 14 catches, 214 yards, and a TD. Holding him to one score is nice, but his production killed us none the less. Like other teams, we got in his way a bit, but didn’t stop him.
  19. Nobody can cover Gronk with a Brady throwing to him. Nobody. It’s just a football fact we have to accept. But Edmunds can make it hard as hell at least. And that’s not nothing.
