  1. I thought he looked strong when he dragged Ingram for several yards on his back and was still able to get a throw off (albeit ill-advised) with the LB draped all over him and that horse collar by Barr showed it again. The kid is Big Ben with mobility and running ability. Very impressive. Lonely day for Barr in that film room.
  2. What's throwing you off? Is it the adjective "very" preceding the word "credibility?" With or without that modifier, it works grammatically.
  3. Sorry, I don't employ an editor to proof read my posts. Perhaps you could ask another member? There is no shortage of those willing to serve as grammar police.
  4. Well, he has an entrenched position. AFAIK, he is the only “pundit” who gave Allen a 3rd round grade. His very credibility as a talent evaluator is on the line every time Allen shows promise and contradicts that position.
  5. This guy is a class A asshat. After two and a half games of experience, Allen is still looking for consistency? Genius, in-depth insight and analysis there. I’m interested to see his “grades” for the other QBs in the clsss.
  6. Good point. On the bright side, Zimmerman is also a defensive guru and author of exotic packages and Allen handled it very well. The kid is gonna see a regular dose of these defenses as he progresses. Hopefully, he’ll become good enough to take what he wants against them but for now, he needs to take what they continue to give when defenses don’t play him honestly. Daboll and Culley are key to that, too.
  7. Go with the hotter hand and that’s Lewis.
  8. Good to hear. Sign of a good HC after a big, upset win.
  9. When I compare lineups, I see this getting fugly early on. Also, Casey Mitts and Nylander playing back to backs suggests to me they are on their way to RaChaCha to start the season.
  10. This play convinced me that the game is slowing down for Allen. Forced out of the pocket, on the run and trying to extend the play, he gives a little gesture to Ivory and then delivers a perfect strike. I got the sense that Minny found him frustrating to play against.
  11. I was being totally tongue in cheek in my post. I agree with you 100%.
  12. Never want injuries for opposing players. You know what they say about karma.
  13. In the meantime, keep learning how to win and grow together as a team. If our D comes to play every Sunday like they did this past Sunday, we're going to surprise some people and establish a good foundation moving forward.
  14. I'm surprised Ben was able to do as well seeing as how he was sporting wood the entire night just looking at three rookies and Minka's man back there.
  15. Big Ben, what can you say?
  16. The second most irritating thing about Booger McFarland is that he sounds just like Keyshawn Johnson.
  17. I'm praying it doesn't. But Fitz can't do anything about a defense looking like ass.
  18. True that. But you called it earlier; TB will get the ball back and Fitz will lead his team toward a game tying FG only to throw the heartbreaking INT.
  19. Always pushing the edge of the entendre envelope.
  20. Balls out excited!
