Thoughts on a Marquise Goodwin reunion?

Please tell me you’re being sarcastic here.

Unbelievable. Perhaps the most tone-deaf organization in history.

That’s just frustration talking. Josh Allen has no say and I’d bet he’s sad to see JB leave. Brown never looked the same after coming back from injury last year. He looked gimpy every time I saw him run. I’m not convinced he hasn’t permanently lost a half step, but I wish him all the best, regardless.

Just heard Jack is being shelved with an injury suffered the other day against the Isles. He’s been nicked up all year so it’s for the better. Time to get a look at Cozens in the center position, anyway. I know he’s got the D game that the center position demands, so I hope RK trusts him enough to let him play.

I care a lot about letting people know how much I don’t care.

Ryan Fitzpatrick leaning toward retirement

Gotta love Fitz and wish him well in his future pursuits. He received perhaps the greatest compliment I’ve heard from one player to another when Jordan Palmer described competing against him for the backup position in Cincinnati. Palmer said competing against Fitz was so tough and he hated it so much because Fitz was just such a nice guy. I suspect every teammate on every team Fitz has been on, and there have been numerous of both, would agree. -

Do you know he played seven games with Jack Nicklaus’s grandson? -
WandaVision, are you watching? A hex on you if you’re not.

Great show all around. A mold breaker. -

For crissakes, it’s a fricken joke harkening back to when Pegula was in the process of buying the team, several posters just couldn’t grasp the concept of the NFL rule regarding multi-franchise ownership, and countless Dudley-do rights would jump in to explain it. It became a board theme for several weeks where we would intentionally mis-state the rule with outlandish ownership scenarios just to have these same posters feel the need to constantly correct us. It was funny for a while. At least to those who were in on the joke at the time.
-
Yeah, I’m surprised he’s gotten away with it this long, when the rule clearly states an NFL owner may not own two pro sports franchises.
-
Well, two of those “they” who have reported it are Bill Hoppe and Chuck Pollack of the Olean Times Herald; two long time and highly respected journalists in WNY. Anyone who makes the commute from Olean to downtown Buffalo for every home game, parks his car on a bridge in Pittsburgh just to receive the radio play by play, or has his friend hold the phone to the radio so he can listen to a playoff game while he’s in Houston, qualifies as an obsessive fan who “gets it” in my book. Terry Pegula may be clueless as a team owner in pro sports, but he’s paid his dues as a fan over the years as we all have. And I can’t fault him for that. And Ted Black was nothing more than a yes man sycophant poser.
-
He was a Sabres season ticket holder for 18 years as well as a youth hockey coach in Olean. Sounds like a hockey fan to me.
-
Agree entirely. They’ve finally managed to suck the last ounce of joy I once had for the game of hockey. Tickets will not be renewed as a result. Can’t say we didn’t give it our all as fans over the years, but enough is enough.
-
The complete incompetence at identifying, drafting, and developing talent is the overriding factor in the failure of this team; more so even than the crappy trades made over the years.
-
Well, that’s at least one on the team.

Kyle Van Noy cut by MIA, should Bills target him?

“Now you sit there and think about what you did!” My favorite Kyle Brandt line from last season. -
NFL is "highly likely" to have a 17-game regular season in 2021

The league will end the season a week later rather than starting it a week earlier. -
Let the great sell-off begin.
-
Well, that’s convenient.

I’m not making a case for Watt one way or the other as there are perfectly valid reasons on both sides of the issue. I was legit asking about a DE at pick 30 who is as good as Watt is right now and thought you had a specific prospect in mind.
