Just imagine all of the concussions and other injuries they could eliminate if they banned tackling.
Better yet just eliminate the players and create robots to play the game.
I work until 9 on Thursday nights so I'll miss when the Bills trade both 1st round picks as well as both 2nds and both 3rds to move up to #2 and take Josh Allen.
Humble pie may be on my menu for the night.
Sitting inside on a beautiful day sucks ... Sitting outside in the cold, snow and rain sucks ... If you're going to spend the money, spend more so sitting in it doesn't suck.
Agreed ... I also think his comment was slightly sarcastic and spot on.
Defensive backs are always getting fined for hits, some justified, some the result of poorly thrown balls where WR's adjust to the ball at the last second. We all know the stories of guys like EJ and JP getting their receivers killed. Sometimes it's not the DB's fault.
Even the Browns aren't stupid enough to do that.
IMO anybody that makes any kind of a trade with the patriots at this point in time, are idiotcy. .... (had to throw that in) ... They've dominated the league for far too many years, screw them.
I vaguely remember the 2013 draft on a former Bills message board that had EJ Manuel, Geno Smith, Matt Barkley and Ryan Nassib going in the top 10.
All 6 of this years "1st round QB's" have warts, there's a good chance a few of them will drop.
It has ... Quarterbacks are protected more than ever and defensive backs are flagged more than ever, it's all about the offenses today.
Allen never had a QB coach in college until this past season. They have said that his foot work is a mess and that affects his accuracy. Give him an NFL QB coach and it's possible they fix his issues.
Drafting Allen may get you the next Roethlisberger or it may give you the next Dan McGuire, only time will tell ... TBD
Hell no ... For all we know the patriots or some other team has been in contact with him and his odd behavior of late is some kind of ruse to go elsewhere.
Worst case scenario ... Bills give up both 2018 first round picks plus both 2nd round picks and 2019 first round pick for Josh Rosen who proceeds to get another concussion in preseason and his doctor daddy talks him into a career as a professional tennis player and he retires before ever taking a snap in a real game.
Miller seemed to be an ok rookie and improved on that in his second season. Last year under Dennison and his scheme, he didn't quite fit. I have a feeling he'll look a lot better in Daboll's scheme.
