I don't think he'll be traded this weekend or anytime this season. I do think it would be in his best interest to come into camp ready to put in the work for his contract season, win the starters job and have a helluva year and watch the offers come in next March. Sitting out, dragging his contract demands thru social media and or whining will not be beneficial for him in the long run.

McD rotates his D-Line so much I could see them going for a player who'll be on the field all 3 downs. CBs would be on the field all 3 downs and we could use a starter to play opposite Benford. Tre' and Dane are fine but I'd rather have them as backing up our new starter. Amos - Got better throughout his college career. Is good in zone(our defense) and good slowing down receivers at the line (need more of that) Revel - Love his size and game, don't love his knee injury and he only played 15 games of college ball Hairston - Aggressive, sometimes overly so, smaller than Amos and Revel. I think one of these three CBs will be the pick and I'll be happy with any of them.

With the 28th pick in Mock 3 The Detroit Lions select Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio St We really don't have a lot of holes on our roster and WR isn't one either unless our 3rd year receiver Jameson Williams gets himself suspended for the 3rd time in 3 years, we won't take the chance of him slowing us down. We're kind of surprised Emeka slid down the board this far and we're glad he did. @Might Rather and the Commanders are on the board.

I think Pearce and Emmanwori are the two BPAs I want them to pick Grant ... At 345 he'll fill a hole and command two blockers, freeing up Oliver and whichever DE he's next to. I'm guessing they'll take Amos ... We need a CB to line up opposite Benford ... Unless they think Tre' can start. That means they'll take Booker, the Guard from Bama.

If Cook thinks not showing up for voluntary workouts will get Beane to flinch and give him 15M per, have at it, it won't work. When Davis was drafted last year I guessed he'd be the starter in 2026, then of course Cook had a career year. I still think Davis will be the starter in 26 and they'll draft his replacement next year. It keeps you on the not paying a RB past initial contract path.

Welcome back Tre' ... It'll be nice seeing him holding the Lombardi in February 2026 and with a ring on his finger after. He knows the system and will be a great mentor to the young guys. Now lets go find our starter for the next decade.
