  1. It’s doesn’t matter…..it’s ok if you don’t care about him…..but why “hate” something like this? Imagine being a 7th rd pick, start the season as the 3rd string qb as a rookie and end up being the starter…..and beating a dolphins team on a nice win streak and then defeating Tom Brady in his first start? enjoy it for what it is…… a great story. or hate it like a Scrooge.
  2. He’s played very well for a 7th rd pick. He’s a great story and discussion. I hate it when people hate things that carry no weight in their lives. Why hate such a thing?
  3. Fat, Hefty, hefty, Fat, All you can eat, Sushi ,
  4. Now that we have all these playoff teams, I wish they would give the teams the choice of who they play based on seed- 1st seed gets the bye- 2nd seed picks who they play- 3rd seed picks their opponent (as long as they haven’t been picked) 4th seed plays the team left over as long as they (the 4th seed) wasn’t picked by the 2nd or 3rd seeds. crappy division winners get the benefit of playing an easier schedule and basically makes the playoffs by default. this titans team is 💩 and they don’t deserve a home playoff game, let alone a playoff bid. As the highest seed in rd 1, the #2 seed should play the worst team. But they don’t because crappy division winners are given higher rank than every WC team. Its nonsense. As it stands, the best WC team plays the worst division winner yearly- end rant 🤷🏻‍♂️
  5. Hope we can add him to the ps
  6. That’s ridiculous. He’s missed 3.5 games. You’re saying that he can never reach elite status if he misses a handful of games each year due to injury. in the last 20 years, how many players have been top 5 in sacks after missing more than 3 games? 2- a juiced up Shawn Merriman and a probably juiced up clay Matthews. Rousseau is a dominant force rushing the passer…..and is even better vs the run. He’s borderline elite right now based on his play in 2022. 7 sacks in 9.5 games while being one of the best run stoppers around. I just hope we can afford the 30M+ aav contract he’s going to get in 3 years.
  7. Yeah, play zone. i guess getting RG the playbook on draft day didn’t help with his technique
  8. They are a bad matchup for our OL. Our DL is an equally bad matchup for their OL. milano and edmunds are a great matchup for us vs their bread and butter- ekeler.
  9. Similar to vons acl I think it was settle who pushed over the OL onto vons knee
  10. In other words- he ain’t ready to be a starter in our system yet.
  11. I don’t think they really coincide.
  12. He’s saying that crowder was supposed to be the starter. Looking at their careers, he should have been. He’s been MUCH more productive as a slot WR. His “2 year contract” is similar to vons 6 year contract- the teams can get out of it when it’s 1/2 complete. In dirtys case, after this season. Crowders contract gives him a chance to be a FA after the season whether the teams wants to or not. He didn’t want to be stuck in another year of making 2M. He thought he would take Beasley’s role, accumulate lots of catches and hopefully double his salary. Mckenzie was fine with it. I’m quite sure Beane would’ve been happy to sign crowder to mckenzies contract…..crowder wasn’t.
  13. This is the best I’ve found but it doesn’t include this weeks games. http://hosted.stats.com/fb/tmleaders.asp?type=Receiving&range=NFL&rank=232 Green Bay had a bye. So if we had 2 drops last game, we passed them. It would be on the teams tier or below us to match us this week. Either way, we drop way too many passes. That’s obvious
  14. Idk, It’s strange to me that he would abandon the run vs the jets for a few reasons: The weather was bad, especially early. The jets pass d is much better than their run D. We were having little to no success passing the ball and protecting 17 the entire 1st half. why not give it a try. We ran very effectively vs the pats who (statistically) have a better run d than the jets. Quinnen Williams is a monster, yes……so we should put him in position to take on our worst pass blocker (Saffold) all game and let him rush our franchise QB. He may have had 4 or 5 sacks if he didn’t get hurt. Barely calling any running plays led us to 14 first downs. Our D saved KDs butt from getting swept by the jets under his offensive lead.
  15. That was one of the reasons they they were terrible. Using all those picks on RBs- 1997-2010 - including 4 first rd picks 97 smith- 1st 98 linton- 5th 99 Bryson- 3rd 00 morris 5th 01 Henry 2nd 02 ferguson 7th 03 mcgahee 1st 05 Gates 7th 07 lynch 1st 10 spiller 1st
  16. It’s maddening isn’t it? And cook was an afterthought after having a couple nice showings. The only way I can rationalize cooks usage last game is that KD doesn’t want to show all of our cards so teams can figure out our hand come playoffs. Cover 1 did a great breakdown of cooke touches in the run game showing he’s had much of his success on just 3 run plays. I think we should be feeding cook short passes all game. but thinking that KD would be holding stuff back would be giving him too much credit. He’s just not that good of an OC. Yet. Hopefully we use him a LOT Vs Miami. They were bringing blitzes all game vs Herbert and he did a helluva job navigating the pocket and locating and hitting the open man Josh has to excel in that regard next week. Cook is the ideal target
  17. His HC response- “Yes. THIS same offensive line that is better suited to run block than to pass block. Idiot.”
  18. I agree. To date, I’m not a fan of Ken Dorsey. Although I was happy with the game plan vs the pats. We have to take into consideration that it’s his first time calling plays. He’s learning and hopefully improving. Our season likely rests in his hands. He’s got a month to figure it out. if he doesn’t- McD may have to pull the plug on this experiment
  19. Sure….you’d like to talk about contenders…. How about we talk about champions. You know, the team that actually wins the super bowl.
  20. We need a balance- period. Without it, this offense isn’t equipped to pass all game. We lack consistent playmakers in the pass game and our OL can’t pass block to save their lives. For this season at least, if we want to win the SB, it’ll be with a balanced offense and imo, James Cook will have to become a major threat catching the ball out of the backfield. I don’t want to see motors 17 millimeter hands attempting to catch passes many more times. (And I love motor….but cook has shown that he can be special in catching the ball. Can Dorsey scheme it is the question.
  21. That’s the point
  22. I agree with everything until the bolded. If you really believe the offense is lacking because we lack talent at RB, you’ve got it all wrong. That’s just an awful take. Doesn’t get much worse. You’re on point with the rest though. P.S.- we used a 2nd rd pick on james cook. The 3rd RB taken in the draft.
