Don’t get me wrong, he’d be phenomenal in our backfield…..but top 5 offenses ever….. with Ken Dorsey calling plays, Mckenzie in the slot, Gabe David WR2- Saffold, Spencer brown and Ryan bates starting in the OL? Cmac is special. Josh is even better. But there are too many holes that can’t be covered up by a RB in order to make this O top ever. Not even close

I don’t think it’s a matchup thing as to why he isn’t playing. I think it’s a practice thing. He’s not showing the coaching staff what they want to see in practice. Once he does, he’ll play.

Thanks. You didn’t say it was impossible but using the word “needs” implies that we can’t win the SB (imo) as winning the SB is the only goal. Nothing else matters. regarding the WR2 stats on Miami, minny and LAC, no offense but they mean nothing….. we’re talking about winning Super Bowls. Looking at the top 4 pass catchers and comparing their #2s means nothing. How many SBs have they won? How many playoff games for that matter…. I agree, I’d love to have a better WR2- Gabe hasn’t lived up to expectations. Of course having a better WR2 would help. Having a better LG, RG and RT would help too. This is the hand we’re playing with and it’s good enough to win the SB- game plan and execution. That’s what we need

Just like TBD to turn this into a “waaaaahhh we don’t have Isaiah Hodgins” thread. we had a ton of injuries taking place when we lost him. Beane was playing with the PS/roster and had to take a chance. He did and he lost. It happens. get over it….he ain’t coming back and crying about it just makes you look adolescent

Adding proven players to the practice squad is always a good move imo. There’s a better chance of him helping the team than “insert name of newly cut PS player here”

Eh. I just go by what I see on the field. He’s within the top 20 DE’s imo. He’s does it all and affect the fame in ways others can’t. I think he’s currently our 2nd best player on D behind Milano.

That’s why everyone said he’s a very good player that, if he continues to play at this level, will become elite. His play has been all pro level imo. In the first meeting, the jets had 3 points when he left with injury. They scored 17 after he left and did a ton of damage on the right side. He was sorely missed the second he left. Then we lose the Vikings game, with him out. I think we win both games if he didn’t get injured. he’s developing into a special player, get used to it. He’s not an “above average starter” right now. Watch him on every snap- he’s a monster.
