  1. I think it’s been proven that you enjoy it when the public piles on you. the consensus agreement is that Pat Mahomes is the best qb on the planet. Going against the public doesn’t make you right every time. Some of the time. Not this time.
  2. You’re lucky that thread got deleted.
  3. I promise he’s taken before the 7th. I’d take him in rd 5 and laugh at the rest of the league for passing on him for so long. He was a likely 2nd rd pick and top 5 OG. You wouldn’t even take him in round 6?
  4. Carr is Andy Dalton minus the legs- he’s like a scared little boy playing a man’s game. I’d rather they pay a crappy QB 40M+ than an all time great. That said- I don’t think they’ll give up that much for AR if they do pull the trigger. Imo, Carr gives them zero chance to win a SB while Rodgers puts them in the conversation. “Good” qb. I have higher standards I suppose
  5. Dam!! Was hoping he’d sign with the jets and soak up all their salary
  6. I was thinking the same. Devon Achane was the only guy that really impressed me running the 40. I figured he’d have the fastest time at the combine, but that kid looked like a missile, albeit a very small missile. It seemed to me like there were 1/2 as many sub 4.4 40’s this year when compared to last year and definitely less than 2021. Considering the lack of competitive tape and a 4.40 time I don’t see Hyatt being a 1st rd pick. Downs has almost no chance at being a 1st rd pick. I don’t see Tank Dell being a 2nd or maybe even a 3rd rd pick (I wouldn’t even take him in rd 4). please let Addison, JSN or Johnston fall to us. That is all
  7. No thanks. He’s not him. He’s not even Larry.
  8. I agree- and generally speaking, drafting a TE in rd 1 is a terrible idea. I just love the player and think he could be special. As a red zone target, he could be elite. I don’t think any of the WRs are going to be special. I think he can lineup in the slot and outside and in time with added strength could be effective inline. We need playmakers- he could be the best in the draft. A guy that Josh can just throw it up to and be confidant he’ll bring it down. We need targets that have the ability to excel in contested catches. He’s that guy. Or maybe I’m completely overrating him. 🤣
  9. I don’t think he’ll be there. I’d be in favor of it. I think he could be special. I think he might be a better pass target than anyone in the draft not named Johnston, addison or JSN. Maybe better than all 3 of them. Throw him in the slot next to knox. Dude can get open, catch good passes and catch passes he has no right catching. Love his potential with Josh in the scramble drill a la Mahomes and Kelce.
  10. He looked pedestrian in shorts yesterday. Not like that means much. I think his tape is nice for a possible day 3 guy but I wouldn’t take him before day 3. If a guy doesn’t have special speed, he better have very good hands and/or catch radius. Physically he’s similar to shakir. I thought he’d be faster and Shakir has a higher RAS score (8 compared to 7). Both have short arms and small hands.
  11. Not sure that has anything to do with him running routes and making contested catches. im not saying he’s bad- I’m just saying that he looks like a moldable piece of clay that can be special. I don’t think there’s anything special about his game right now other than his speed.
  12. All depends on how we attack FA- who we let go and who we sign will have an impact on how I feel about the draft. If we draft a pass rusher or mlb @ 27 and they end up being great, I’ll be happy. It doesn’t really matter how we feel immediately after the draft or even in the first year. Drafting great players is how we win a SB. Drafting bums is how we play ourselves out of being contenders.
  13. Same. I love Tillman- but I don’t think he’s a good pick @ 27. Maybe after a trade back as he might not be there for us in rd 2.
  14. To my eye, Addison and JSN are MUCH better than Hyatt. Both are technicians in route running, gaining separation and securing passes. Hyatt looks like a track star with a limited route tree and questionable hands. Hyatt seemed to be running wide open on 90% of his targets. Flowers looks to be a comparable talent to addison and JSN- maybe not as refined but a better athlete. johnston, addison, JSN and Flowers look to be the WRs worth a look in rd 1 of this draft. Hyatt might be drafted rd 1 but he doesn’t have the WR skills (other than speed) to warrant the selection imo. I see a lot of comparisons to a healthy Will Fuller…..but I don’t see that. I thought Fuller had much better ball skills and was a better route runner. it looks like there will be a few decent WR options in rd 2-4. I love Jayden Reed and he’d be an absolute steal in rd 3 (but likely won’t be there for us there). Boutte, Tillman, Washington, Tyler, Rice, Palmer, Mims, Hutchinson, wicks, Wilson, Jarrett, nacua, Mingo, Perry, Jones, Green. If the top 4 WRs are gone, I hope we can trade down. If Hyatt is the pick, so be it, I just don’t know if he’s ever going to be more than an MVS type (minus the height and wingspan). Don’t reach on WR. There’s some decent mid rd value value imo. I’d rather draft Wright/Mauch or another OL rather than reach on WR
  15. Later rounds is likely rd 2 or a big trade up in rd 3 imo. I could see him being taken before our pick in rd 2. Or does he turn into Kelvin Harmon 2.0 and drop like a ton of bricks.
  16. Think TY Hilton imo.
  17. Hahaha, was thinking the same thing. But I’ll take him. Not my first choice- but I think he’d fit nicely
  18. Yeah, but trading down and drafting him would be nice…. mocks don’t mean Jack.
  19. Yeah, I feel the same. His size definitely scares me and I don’t think he’s a 1st rd value, but @ 27, I doubt there’s a 1st rd talent left considering the draft. Trading down and grabbing flowers would be nice, but I doubt anyone will want to trade up to the back end of this talent pool. I think he can be a difference maker in this offense
  20. Definitely wouldn’t be surprised.
  21. I threw up in my mouth watching Epenesa slog through the drills.
  22. That’s good. Now we’re set at OG!
  23. Agreed- Knowing when that moment will strike is close to impossible due to injuries.
