It could be all true. It might not be. What IS true, is the authors determination to write a hit piece on the HC who took his credentials from the building. I have zero respect for the author and I’m working under the assumption that 90% of the information he received is from Quinton Spain. All these sources and not one willing to be named? This is as low brow an article that I’ve read in awhile. and it could all be true….but the authors lack of professionalism has discredited the publication in my eyes.

💯 my friend! And happy holidays to you! I can’t believe how many times I’ve read a poster say “McD should hold himself accountable” or something to that nature. Is he supposed to resign mid season? Is Beane failing by not firing McD mid season? Is Terry supposed to force the issue? He held himself accountable by firing the guy he made a mistake by not firing last offseason. I didn’t think there was any chance he would fire Dorsey mid season and I don’t believe he wanted to. It was just painfully obvious that he had to. And he did. There’s not much else he can do other than resigning or handing over defensive play calling to a guy that has never called defensive plays.

Agreed. There are multiple layers to this story. If it were someone other than this particular author, I might view this in a different light. I believe there is a lot of truth to everything in the article. If we don’t make the playoffs, McD should be fired and he should be fired for a lot of what is written in the article. I’m just not a fan of the “opinion” the author interjects into an article based on a lot of fact. It believe most (if not all) of it is true…..and the author should just let the facts speak for themselves. But he couldn’t resist.

His return would scare me if Dorsey were still here. I’m excited about his return with Brady…… I think his return should eliminate any chance of targeting Gabe Davis 12 times in a game ever again.

I can see it happening. One week at a time. I’ve had a feeling that this season would consist of a euphoric moment we will always remember. What better than to win 5 in a row, ending with a win in Miami to clinch the playoffs? I believe we’re a top 2 team (I think SF if the best) when we play to our potential. In each loss, we’ve had one blunder that, if we didn’t eff it up, likely would have won us the game. Eliminate that play in the next 5. We can do that.

That was hilarious. Forward progress but ruled oob! I was laughing hysterically. He looks tired and like he’s slowing down. Maybe just saving his best for when it really matters…..but we should kick their heads in. I expect Mahomes’ feet to be their biggest weapon come sunday

I’m confidant we’ll have a plan too. And I think it’ll be a good plan. The question is, once Reid and Spags see our plan and adjust…..how will we counter? We had a great plan vs Philly in the first half. They adjusted. We got rolled. How will the D perform (and McD call plays) in the 4th qtr with the game on the line? This is where McD can earn his alleged “💯 safe” pass this offseason. He needs to show that he can still go head to head with the elite coaches and win. He was able to beata one good head coach from the 1st-4th qtr this year, mcdaniel. That’s the only great performance by McD and his staff this year imo

I blame Dorsey for not scoring over 25 for 6 straight weeks- and us scoring 32+ in both games since his departure.

And the drops. And the penalties. And running the wrong routes. there has been a lot of issues throughout this season. LOTS. I’m not disagreeing with the premise of your post. McD has been a big problem, especially at the end of games (zero blitz anyone?) but there has been several issues in offense this year too. Which should also come down on the HC. Even more reason he should be replaced. oh well. Hopefully he can prove us wrong next year

What’s more confusing is that we’re interested in a TE after throwing ONE combined pass to the TE’s in the 2nd half of the last two games. Zero vs Philly….who has had major struggles vs TEs this year. sigh

Was thinking that watching as Zaccheaus made the catch of his life. A couple weeks after Sutton did the same. A few weeks Zay jones did the same. Several weeks after Garrett Wilson did the same. 4 TD catches in 4 different games decided by less than a TD. and none of our pass catchers, except Diggs, have highlight TD catches. Crazy.
