That may be true, but the other options are even worse and have little to no chance to ever be starters at any position. At least this kid has a chance to be an average to plus starter at mlb. The Bernard injury really sucks. I think they wanted Bernard to win the job. When Dodson loses his cool and plays poorly in the games, the door was wide open. Too bad Bernard couldn’t walk through it with an injured hammys. I’m not his biggest fan due to his size but he’s the only other guy that I think can do what mcdermott wants at the position in coverage. I’d like to see a healthy competition between Williams and Bernard. Let’s them battle and improve and hope one can be a solid starter down the stretch and going forward

Another 3rd rd MLB- sounds like something we did at RB, one of the only other positions that get paid less than MLB. I doubt they’d ever draft 2 OTs in the first 3 rounds. I’d be happy with it though. Give me LT, WR, DT

I dub ye The Big Smooth. Always loved that nickname, but I didn’t think Sam Perkins (nba player) was worthy of the name. I didn’t think he was that smooth. He was big though Dalton Kincaid on the other hand, when watching him run routes, buttery smooth goodness is what I see. Buttery smooth goodness is a lame nickname ( 🤔 ) but The Big Smooth not. At least in my estimation. Any chance you could get on board with calling our phenom The Big Smooth? Or will you call him something else other than Dalton Kincaid. I hear ya. I just think he’ll be one of the better run blocking slots in the league. His effort as a blocker is there. Just continue to work on his technique and strength like knox did.

I just rewatched it. You and @Ralonzo are correct. He bailed early. He could’ve stepped up to the left in between Dawkins and McGovern but he wouldn’t have been able to make the throw to Diggs or Harty on the right. He would’ve been able to hit Davis in the scramble drill though. His reluctance to stay in the pocket hurt him in this case and in many others throughout his career…..but our OL play over the years is the reason bailing is his first instinct. Mmhmmmm. and wait til that position is targeted 3rd down after 3rd down all season

I haven’t watched the 2nd half yet, so there is not much good I can comment on. +Kincaid- my boy. Thank goodness for him. He’s going to change our offense if our OL/Dorsey can figure things out. +Torrance- I focused on him and he looked like an all pro standing next to Spencer Brown. + Allen- his scramble had me feeling some type of way. His throw to Gabe was picture perfect. beautiful. He’s still a god in my eyes. Too bad Brown and Dawkins were too much for him to overcome. On our first 3rd down incompletion to Diggs, Diggs was open but Allen was flushed just as he was supposed to throw. -Brown and Dawkins could ruin our season. Something needs to be done. We can’t trot both of those guys out there every week if that is how they’re going to play. We can mask one….. we can’t mask both playing like that. - If we don’t make any additions at OT we should start Elam and Dorian Williams all season because a Lombardi is unlikely unless their play turns around drastically. May as well let these kids take their lumps.
