I’m excited about the prospects of running with 12 personnel, but I don’t know if swapping Kincaid in for a WR is going to make THAT much of a difference. The jets DL is what makes their run d formindabke vs our O imo.

Mmhmm. And considering the matchup, I think the jets have the advantage in the rushing dept. I think their D is better suited to stop our run than our D is to stop theirs. Especially with Bernard out there instead of Edmunds. Last year, Josh was the only effective rusher we had vs the jets.

I don’t think they’re practice level guys. I do think that they played like practice level guys last night. I recall 1 by Chauncey gardner- he was focused on laying the wood and didn’t see the ball until it was too late. another, was a deep ball and Mahomes overthrew everyone. I remember thinking that the safety may have been able to get his hands on it with more effort, ie, fully extend his arms or dive. Didn’t see a replay though, it may have been too far

Agreed. That’s why I don’t think there’s much to talk about here. Toney, Taylor and the refs are the only things I find interesting after watching the game and I don’t think it means much, if anything at all. Mahomes looked pretty good to me, the WRs did not.

I mean, I personally have little interest in contributing much more than my opinion on the game. I watched the game. I thought the refs sucked. I thought the chiefs WRs sucked. I think that this game means very little considering the chiefs didn’t have 2 of their 3 elite players on the field. Imagine us playing this game without Diggs and Von. We’d lose too, but probably by more than 1 point. I was happy to see the chiefs play without two studs, one due to injury. More to how lucky the chiefs were last year to be so healthy the majority of the season and the playoffs.

Considering the choices- roll with the team captain. I’m in the same boat- not sure which way to roll. I've narrowed it down to: Poyer- red- I wore it every game last year minus the opener, in which I wore Allen. Kincaid- blue- already my favorite player. He’s the leading choice atm Diggs- black- unlikely due to the color Allen- blue- It feels like a dime a dozen Milano- red- I initially thought this would be my go to jersey this season as I thought Poyer would sign elsewhere. Then we drafted Kincaid.

Sorry, when I say “we” I mean each individual person can only discuss what they have seen to date. Whether it be play on the field, in scouting reports, analysis from others etc. I’m not saying anyone’s opinion is incorrect. Where did I say that? If you disagree, please point out where I’ve said that. I’m just giving my opinion and stating that the only thing we can discuss is what we’ve seen to date…. I didn’t read your previous post, but I think we’re looking at this from different angles. My post was based on this quote “The key point here is we don't know anything until Bernard's snap count is large enough to make a rational evaluation. Too many here seem to have prejudged Bernard before he's had any significant playing time.” So what does this mean? We can’t express our current thoughts on the player because we don’t have a large enough sample size? It’s a message board in 2023. People have opinions and like to share them. To date….what I’VE seen from Bernard, has been underwhelming and doesn’t lead me to believe that he’s going to be a satisfactory starting Mike. I didn’t mean to dismiss your opinion or anyone else’s. All I can discuss is what I’ve seen to date. If I haven’t seen it, I don’t know about it, so I can’t discuss it. Maybe you’re interpreting what I’m saying in a different light or maybe I didn’t word it correctly? 🤷🏻‍♂️ but I definitely don’t feel that what I said is wrong. I’m allowed to have an opinion of a player before he’s played enough snaps to make a rational evaluation. I’m sure everyone here has been guilty of that. As if it’s a terrible thing. Sheeesh its not as if I’m making a declaration that Terrel Bernard is 💯 too small and weak to play the Mike. From what I’ve seen….I fear that may be the case. So sad. RIP. he earned 11M+ during his career. Unfortunate that he had to still work construction. Nothing against the occupation, but it’s dangerous and can have negative physical ramifications We’ll that would be great news if true
