Week 3, Bills v. WTF's - Predict the Score
NewEra replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
If it’s rainy and windy 16-13 washington If it’s not rainy and windy 73-0 bills -
Adams is mad and he’s digging deep on Pat Rapp. Can’t blame him. Was an obvious penalty. Rapp just trying to make a play but overestimated his own speed. Too slow, got there too late. Deserved a flag

He fights for yards just fine
-
Jimbo wasn’t seen at practice today according to Getzenberg hopefully it’s nothing to worry about

The first play of the 2nd qtr, Spillane had a clear run at cook in the backfield and smacked him dead on. Cook bounced off of him and got 4 yards that he shouldn’t have had…..IF he didn’t have sufficient contract balance. That’s what breaking tackles is 90% of the time. Spillane didn’t really attempt to wrap him up….and if he did, cook probably would’ve been tackled….just as the majority of the nfl RBs would’ve been. He’s not going to be a grinder that consistently moves the pile because of his physical makeup….but his YPC tells us that’s he’s a legit starting RB that the opposition will have to start paying more attention to. Teams wanting to cover 2 shell us to death are going to have to deal with him and Kincaid.

His ceiling is limited? Is he going to become Mahomes or Allen? Of course not. I think he has the tools to be as good or even better than Matt Ryan, Eli Manning, Kirk Cousins, Dak and Tua. He has a good arm and is more than mobile enough. Imo, those are the 2 things that cap a players ceiling other than his mental makeup. He had the 2nd highest wonderlic (34) in his class. 6’1 220 isn’t ideal and, imo, is the reason he slipped. The kid is a competitor and understands the nuances of playing the position. I don’t know if he’ll be a star, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him as Washington’s long term starter
-
I hear ya. I recognize that I’m a novice and often incorrect. I gave him around a 30% chance to be our starting Mike this season (and only that high because the competition was poor) and around a 15% chance of being our answer going forward

It is crazy to those that watch college football, watch film and read scouting reports. Some people find it enjoyable to scout players. That’s not you. Cool, but you shouldn’t expect anyone else not to have their own opinion of players just because you don’t choose to have an opinion. My original opinion of him- very worried about his size, play strength and potential for injury. Loved his instincts and ability to fly to the ball.
-
You mean that you don’t pretend to have an opinion. Got it. It’s a message board….this is what people do on message boards. Give their opinions. 🤷🏻♂️ 🤦🏻♂️
-
this is every fan base. Put up or shut up. A 225 Mike that had an injury history in college and couldn’t unseat Tyrell Dobson until he, himself, got injured and missed the end of camp. Not sure why anyone would have confidence in him prior to actually watching him play Mike vs an nfl team. now, I’ve seen him play and he’s looked decent. If he gets hurt, we could be in big trouble did you think Bernard was going to be good?
-
Stay healthy TB!
-
Lol 🤦🏻♂️ They told him Bernard is their starter.

Cam Akers traded to Vikings for 2026 pick swap. No clue which round. not worthy of its own thread. I’d rather have our 3 rbs
-
Aiyuk is still on his rookie contract
-
For sure. Most of our games will come down to our OL vs the opposing DL. I can’t see a replay of the raider game happening though. I think we should knox and kincaid chip and release the majority of the game. Their LBs are meh and I think there can be a ton of yards had m chipping and releasing. TEs and cook.
-
I think Torrance had the Bills 4th worst Pff grade vs the raiders.
-
And better OGs

Josh Named AFC Offensive Player of the Week 2 and Week 4

Chalk another one up. -
I fixed that for you

12 people agree with, 2 like and 1 awesome this OP. 🤣

Yeah, I just think Dalvin is a much stronger back. The burst and locks swaying is similar though. The kid can get the corner with the best of them. Once we get the big smooth implemented properly, the sky’s the limit for this O. Diggs, kingcaid and cook could be a solid big 3. Add knox, Gabe and the misfits. It’s all on Spencer brown!
-
And he still averaged 5.7 ypc. I’m not saying he’ll be as good as Jamal Charles, but he reminds me of him. Dangerous

You think? 16th overall comes with higher expectations imo. I was disappointed with him. Considering his god given size and athleticism plus being the son of a solid nfl player, I was expecting him to create turnovers and have a nose for the ball. Forcing fumbles, interceptions, tipped passes, strip sacks etc. He was the complete opposite as he just doesn’t seem to have the instincts or an extra gear. He played very well in his contract year and did his family good. The bears FO is 💩 Worthy of an 11-12m contract imo
