  1. The guy is talking about past and present comps- and you bring up Gabe Davis and Chris Burkett. As if that is the kind of comp he’s looking for. Shakir is nothing like either of those guys- but…..stats, 4th option, one year wonders. Any chance to take a dump @Sammy Watkins' Rib It’s tough to find good comparisons for Shakir due to his squatty dimensions (long torso, short legs, short arms). I think you have to look at attributes. He has great footwork and body control, very good hands, feel for the zone and RAC ability. one WR that comes to mind is a stronger and quicker version of Doug Baldwin. Not a super athlete but plenty athletic. Not super fast, but plenty fast enough. Hands, separation, smarts. Looking at current WRs, while he’s not as good, another guy I liken him to is Amon-Ra St Brown. St Brown lite. Similar dimensions- Squatty, strong, best in the slot, good rac, separation and hands.
  2. Is McD moving to Southeast Asia too?
  3. Agreed- pass rush hasn’t shown up. Rousseau and Oliver are very good players that could become great….but they need to make plays when we need them to. Before his injury, Von did that for us. He was a closer and won games for us in the 4th qtr. That fateful thanksgiving day game had such a monumental negative impact on our 22 and 23 seasons. Rousseau has improved every season and this season looks no different. He looked like a monster vs Pittsburgh and has all the physical ability to become elite. The guy will make 28m+ aav if he can show out in this upcoming playoff. If our pash rush doesn’t show up in the playoffs this year, our season will undoubtedly end in the same fashion. An L.
  4. Top 5. Yeah, he’s also a top 30. Top 2.
  5. He gave you your answer. Use your brain. What is gained in asking a question when the answer was already given?
  6. Sorry- My post was sarcasm -
  7. You should know better by now! He’s only a promote from within guy so he can sacrifice the guys he promotes in order to save his job. Get with it!
  8. No, I don’t act like this hasn’t come up here many times- I act like the people who believe this to be true are idiots.
  9. Because he thinks he’s a bright young mind that knows his system? It’s not as if he wasn’t getting interest around the league after already being interviewed by Miami, NYG and the packers. Why would they even interview him…..he’s never called plays. But that makes too much sense to be true…..read between the lines, he only hired him as a scapegoat. Got it Reaffirmation that you are that guy.
  10. Thanks- I just didn’t want to put words in your mouth. Thanks for reaffirming
  11. Just so I don’t put words in your mouth, please tell us why you think he hired Babich and has him calling plays
  12. Went back and forth between 9-10 before pulling the trigger on 10. Monster schedule
  13. Do you think this is the reason he made this move? Or do you think he did it because it is in the best interests of the teams success?
  14. 😘 Sorry, didn’t have my reading glasses on, missed that part my guy!
  15. Except I didn’t claim it that to be the case
  16. How long into this thread before posters start claiming that McD did this to deflect blame onto Babich when we don’t win a SB and use him as the scapegoat to save his job
  17. Keon won’t take your offer? 😉
  18. And in the playoff games vs the bengals and the chiefs, we didn’t have a top 5 roster in the field. Not even close. Beginning of the season roster doesn’t = end of the season roster. We suffered a lot of bad luck…..a long with being out coached. just like Shanahan has been out coached in 2 super bowls vs Reid. They have a much better coaching staff than we do….. just as they have a better coaching staff than every other team in the league. It’s not always about us. Sometimes it’s also about the opposition…..and KC is great
  19. No- he’s the head coach and ultimately owns all responsibility. I don’t think that he is responsible for the players making plays and the OC calling plays. He is the one most reasonable for our losses each season. He’s not the only one responsible. That falls on many facets of our team. We had the weapons in the past and only lived up to their potential in one season ending loss, 13 seconds. 19- they failed. 20, the O failed. 22 the O failed. 23, the O failed. yes, the D failed more so.
  20. Milano and Bernard both missed the games with lower body injuries- if they weighed 10 lbs more…..they still would’ve gotten injured. Our biggest guy, Daquan, missed most of the season with a torn pec. Von got rolled up from behind. Benford is not a smaller corner. Tredavious is not a smaller corner. Douglas is not a smaller corner. Dodson was not a smaller LB. all of our injuries didn’t occur because we have smaller Lbers.
  21. Fair point- I digress- part of the blame lays on him. I was one of the critics on that fake punt call. I hated it. I suppose we still had a slight chance after the missed FG, but I don’t really put that failed stop at the end on him. The 8 yard run by Pacheco on 1st down basically sealed the game. again- he deserves blame. Do you think he’s the only reason that we haven’t won a SB?
  22. Supremely athletic. Perfect guy to roll the dice on with zero risk. He made a smart choice and landed in the perfect spot. If he’s ever going to excel, it’s right here. Just needs to stay healthy
  23. You don’t see the significance of not scoring any points in the last 18 minutes of a game vs pat Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Andy Reid in a playoff game? How many teams have defeated the chiefs in the playoffs doing that? You’re asking me to play make believe in instances that could never be possible- how would josh have fared if the ravens played without roquan, queen, Humphrey and a broken Clooney? How would he have don’t if he were on the niners without Warner, ward, greenlaw and a broken bosa? How would Josh have done on the bengals without Pratt, Wilson and a broken Hendrickson? again- you’re putting this on one person- and it’s ridiculous. I don’t see how anyone that understand football could really believe what you believe. He’s been part of the problem. He isn’t the only problem. There have been multiple issues leading to our losses.
