It’s not crazy. Their OL is complete trash and they’re healthy. they have no run D. Tua needs a somewhat competent OL imo. Losing Connor Williams and Robert Hunt has crushed them.

IMO, they suck because they took the Kyle Shanahan to roster building- -one stud OL with 4 scrubs —but Terron is no Trent and their OL coach hasn’t been able to coach up the rest like shanahans coaches have. -invest all the offensive resources on playmakers. -invested poorly in chubb and Ramsey. their IOL may be the worst in the league.

For sure- I’m happy with the way he handles Phillips last night. In years past, Phillips had his way with Spencer. I think my biggest worry with him has always been his back injury history, especially with a man that’s so tall. Could turn out to be a nice deal for us if he stays healthy though. I don’t hate it- I was just hoping we’d allocate more resources elsewhere. After watching last nights game, I’m starting to think we should just pick up UDFA’s and start them in the back 7. Save money there and put it into the OL/WR/DL

🤣 it is a great line. i don’t know- no prediction. I’m holding off any type of judgement until we play a defense with nfl on it. Playing az doesn’t prove much to me. I’m hoping 17 puts on a show like he always does vs Miami. I think how we handle their blitz likely determine our fate. If Josh is on fire- we win. If the blitz gets to him and he gets a TO or 2, I think we’ll lose. I have faith that McD and Babich will put something together that will keep it competitive either way- if Josh is on fire, our d will probably get torched. If Josh isn’t playing well, our d will hopefully us keep us in the game. Another game decided by less than 6 points either way 23-20 good guys
