If you hit F3 the same thing happens and the Help window opens if you hit F1... and this same damn problem happens in IE too. It's not an issue if you have focus on something that actually requires input (like this reply box. ///// / / See; no Find when I do it in here.) If you really want to get rid of it I hear that hitting the CNTL ALT and DEL keys simultaneously a couple of times will disable it.

Tell your Cable Provider you want the NFL Network
DieHardFan replied to OnTheRocks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lineups vary even with the same carrier (ie Adelphia-Utica does not offer NFLNet-HD just analog and digital versions). Was told by an Adelphia phone rep that if you have NFL network now it would stay. What do you mean ajzepp? The switch happened in your area and you lost the NFL channel? I didn't think AD->TW switch was made anywhere yet. -
Just say NO to "pancakes and syrup!"
DieHardFan replied to MelissaInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hmmm, a drug that gets the wife to babble less AND make her forget what she was bitching about. Sounds like a wonder drug to me. BTW: Good PSA on danger of latest dangerous drug dejour but topic title is lame. Makes it sound like you are bitching about lard asses not drugs. Lame topics need teasers to get them opened. This is not the case here. -
Wait until next week. Baby trump follows the antics of Goldrush and spells out his comments with drool.

If you find out let me know. Probably an attention grabbing ploy similar to titling a post with a half posed question so someone has to open it to know it wasn't worth opening. Maybe you should email Andy Rooney.

We have become a nation of apologists

Hope he had a parachute on to cushion the fall. Oh, BTW I apologize. -
That would be the best way but due to her attitude and current record as PM she probably will be the one ganged up on if Synergy takes a loss. I thought Bryce really called out Trump last week. Also noticed that none of the banter was included in the show recap.Billy and Caroline have him mastered. "You were absolutely correct.... It was a no brainer... (SUCKING SOUND)"

Season Ticket Holder Challenge
DieHardFan replied to buffalobillsfootball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good sentiment but poor logic. Ralph needs your cash not your attendance. Season Tickets are sold at a discount. The same seat sold at full price for 10 games brings in more revenue. Cancel that ST order buffalobillsfootball and buy some full price tickets in the nosebleed sections for some pre-season games. -
is it Legal to steal someones internet signal?
DieHardFan replied to taterhill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly! However technically according to the TBD charter he has 10,000 posts and you only have 5,000 so your opinion only counts half as much. You can use my paltry 350 though. -
I thought Golisano had ties to Rochester. If a new stadium is deemed necessary buy some pasture off the T-way west of Rochester and build it there. Or even close to Six Flags. Expand the regional concept from the pre-season to the real season and leave the cesspool behind. [i'll duck now. ]

Check out their stop at a place called "Turkey Trot Acres" (in Candor, near Owego). They are playing two nights and recording it for a DVD with proceeds going to a chapter of the Vietnam Vets.

Have a TS in Escondito (mostly for trade value, but I take a least one week there every couple of years) and really have grown to love the area. Others have hit the highlights well. In addition: As stated above; The Wild Animal Park http://www.sandiegozoo.org/wap/index.html is not to be missed. Set up as a walking safari. Lots of neat stuff like a giraffe feeding station (they bend over and take food right out of your hand, pretty neat). It's an offshoot of the San Diego Zoo itself. If you have time see both but plan on spending a full day at each. Since you're in So Cal avoid the freeways before 10am and between 4 -6 pm at least. Trolley system is great, cheap and a show in itself. Goes from inside Mexico up through the city. Don't miss TJ. Get off the expressway at Palm ave and take the trolley in. [station is in between the two main southern legs]. I really enjoy Imperial Beach (right on Palm to the end). Nice easy going seaside town with a wharf and lots of great little eateries. Check the schedule and if there is a group that you are even remotely interested in go to Humphrey's for a concert. http://www.humphreysconcerts.com/ . [The picture on their site says it all.] Your timing is good as tickets for the season go on sale 4/1. Have a good time.

common man, where is the sopranos analysis
DieHardFan replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope I am wrong but my take is that TS will recover physically but that his brain will stay mush. Dr Bedside Manner kept dropping hints about this. Also the alzheimer diagnosis in dreamland. Last two weeks could have been combined into one but slow development (to hide obvious future plot twists) has always been a hallmark of the show. Tony "juniorized" could lead to some great plots as the family disintegrates and Phil tries to make his move. [Hopes for Silvio are fading fast but always thought he had a better head, but lesser stomach for the business than TS.]. AJ will either go the way of Jackie Jr. or the blatant way they are making him out to be a Dumb Azz could be a ruse and he could emerge as a Michael Corleone (even opportunity for show to pay homage to the GF and have him save TS from a hit in the ICU). Great to have the show back! -
If you have Vonage (or any VOIP)

You could always move to Utica. Rush hour lasts from 4:00p - 4:05p when all the retirees rush out for the early bird specials.

I'm a sucker for most reality TV but avoided this as I've managed to stay away from Simon LeGreed's American X reality TV shows. Damn, I'll have to give this one a chance.
-
Not even close. I knew nothing about the story (but am happy that it sounds like a god one) but I notice that (like the last Matrix movie) it is also showing in IMAX. Waiting to take a trip into the big city to catch it at an IMAX theatre.

Cypress Gardens or Busch Gardens?
DieHardFan replied to buckeyemike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't miss the everglades air boat ride. Sounds cheezy but it's an enjoyable outing and even entertainingly educational. Also don't miss the IMAX theatre. It's near Busch Gardens surrounded by an Aquarium or Museum or Science Center type place. [And if you can duck the Mrs for a bit Tampa used to have some of the best "adult" entertainment in the USA]. -
TSW NCAA Tourney Pick Em Contest
DieHardFan replied to KD in CA's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm in with TBD name. [so you know who you are laughing at.] FYI: Deadline to make picks is Thu Mar 16 12:10pm EST. -
Quite the opposite. More pissed when shows like the Shield give up the plot of 80% of next weeks show in the promos.
-
I've watched it all season and agree that the plot has potential but the development has gotten bogged down in recent weeks. Too much plot meandering and way too much soap opera. The characters are one dimensional (except the alien ex who is the the designated "conflicted one") especially the whiny reporter wifey and her brother the dufus who is supposed to have figured things out. Hope they get things back on track especially since Threshold (IMO the best of the new sci-fi shows) has been canned.

Thanks for the tip (and screw the ingrates).

SU HOOPS -- Thanks for the memories G-Mac!
DieHardFan replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would be great to see him get both NIT and NCAA championships but not sure these guys can stay focused long enough. Love SU but think a season in the NITs may be a good thing for some of the hot heads and underperformers on this team. Also for Boeheim. Needs to get them back to basics esp in the areas of D and free throws.
