  1. "Taste" and "Controversy" aside (is the content really that outrageous, especially when the intended audience is taken into account?) the video is just plain stupid. Perfect media fodder for drawing in viewers, but hardly sensational. The "jokes' don't even make it to a sophmoric level and the whole thing lacks originality. Reynolds deserved to be fired for no other reason than this egotistic, poorly conceived idea.
  2. I thought he was great ........ on Ally McBeal.
  3. Sorry to disagree but I believe that ditty was created for Ron Mexico. (o-lay)
  4. On the subject of school aid why is it assumed that district funding of schools is a de facto right. IN NYS it isn't even a fact. Follow the lawsuits regarding the "upstate" vs "downstate" distribution of school aid. Not sure of the Fed vs State vs local %'s but I think they are stacked in favor of the first two. The erosion of the US's intellectual superiority is a fact. And my belief is that the school system is 70 % to blame (with another 20% being the erosion of the family). Private schools are (and should be) an option for those who can afford them (WITHOUT tax credits) but funding school districts based upon the district's income is ludicrist. MINIMAL FEDERAL standards (right or wrong) exist and to bring them up RESOURCES need to be prioritized for those schools which are lacking. The career opportunities that existed for the uneducated just 20 years ago don't exist today. The individual and society suffer when the educatable are not. Race and economics aside, contrary to PC teaching we are not all intellectually equal. Competetion helps one to excel in acedemics as well as athletics. If you are not academically gifted you shouldn't have to compete against those that are. And vica versa. It hurts both extremes. Put the bottom 20% of acheivers in one school, and the top 20% in another and educate them appropriately and the rest can stay put. Just my opinion.
  5. Wow, the avalanche of responses to this thread makes me realize how much harm the PCification of the last 5 - 10 years has actually done. IMO the actual opportunity to express one's thoughts, whether they are ignorant, unfeeling, or malicious is the way to cure the boil of intolerance and hatred. PC just lets the feelings fester since we all know the banished (ie censored) subjects and stereotypes don't go away they just get discussed (and re-enforced) among groups you know are "safe". Is this progressive or retro? IMO (OPINION being the significant phrase) the comments here range from raw and ignorant to insightful and revealing. But at least they foster understanding of the various points of view out there.
  6. Even Trump recognized that this group was lacking although he worded around it. Saw an interview earlier in the day where he said that for A4 he had his minions narrow the field down to 2K then got involved in the interviews himself. Said that Burnett was not going to pick a highly qualified woman because she was "too pretty". Trump said "he would worry about that" and placed her in the group. Typical Trump self-promotion.
  7. Believe it or not you actually saved a little. When I paid for my seasons online they added a $1 internet transaction fee (on top of the $3) to the order. TD must like the MickeyD Dollar menu.
  8. If it helps had option of S222 R14 s 1-10 at about 12:30p but declined.
  9. 1) The shoebox method worked better. 2) This isn't rocket science. This technology was available off the shelf and debugged by 98 (conservatively).
  10. Whatta joke! Tried to get two in the Lower Bowl was offered the following: NOTE: There were not enough seats in the price level you requested. The following are close matches to your search criteria. Seats Price $52.00 (Inet) x 2 306 8 s 5-6 Yeah, Real close; plus I save a whole $1 per ticket.
  11. Did you really expect it to work? This is a site that is still recruiting Blue Coats to sell tickets for a program that doesn't even exist anymore. And using 2003 Info to promote it. All incoming phone circuits are busy also. Once all the cronys and budzos get their fill of tickets things will miraculously start working.
  12. My seasons are in row 1 at about the 15 yd line on the visitors/tunnel side. Great for getting pictures and seeing plays and hits up close and also is in front of a cheerleader station. Get to use the wall to post any PC signs and the others can be custom made to target your favorite opponents (currently stocking up on Ron Mexico themed signs). Also gives you opportunities to 'converse' with players (especially the kickers) and the occasional sideline celeb. As noted camera white-outs and end zone plays necessitate using the jumbotron but IMO still much better overall than being stuck up in the masses.
  13. Probably still be charges except would have been brought against Anita Hill.
  14. Get real. If it was a free market CABLE and the DISH people could carry the ticket also. You had better be careful or Tabliablows will make you watch the game in official NFL gear also. NFL and DTV - the perfect BJ
  15. Both items you mention are attributes, but do any traveling in your new home state and you'll find that Cingular's coverage sucks.
  16. Hitler, Osama as villians ??? They are just evil bastards. Snidley Whiplash and Dr Smith (Lost in Space), they were true villians; warped wannabes that were always foiled.
  17. Just to complicate things I suggest you throw the Oakland game into the mix. The SF Bills's backers are a great group and threw one hell of a bash last year. Also a great time of year to be in the Bay area. Plus since the Bills are playing in OAK two consecutive years it will probably be a while until they are there again. Assuming you are flying I would think that due to the relative sizes of the cities a flight between Dallas and OAK/SF would be comparable to a BUF or GB flight. [ Of course San Diego Bills backers also throw a good party so you could also consider that game ... ]
  18. Still don't see either one of these finalists actually cutting it in Trumpland but (editing not considered) Kendra is the clear winner. Was gratified to see what I had always thought were Tana's true colors come out last night but really suspect that they were somewhat magnified by the editing. Kendra once again uses the tear card to her advantage. Trump seemed to almost be impressed by it but I wonder what he would think if she turned them on while she was a true employee. Once again Tweedledee and Tweedledumb (Geo and Car) echoed safe Trump appeasing comments on their charges but as suggested above I'm starting to believe that their 'insights' may be more (as much) producer-speak than sychopantism. Hope the final show is at most an hour. Don't see that they have too much more to cover.
  19. Wow, Haven't seen such a well executed troll thread in a long time. Give it a 8 for topic, and a 9.5 for the skill and patience used in reeling them in (just the right amount of ludicrist comments when things slow down). Even got the statistic hounds howling. Reminiscent of classic Ice.
  20. I'm no fan of agents or hold-outs but from the article this MAY have merit. If he gets hurt in MiniCamp (low probablity but possible) he is SOOL. Agent SAYS they offered to sign an agreement based upon identical language used by another team. Sounds fair to me.

  22. I want to see him get nailed but he's the only opponent (besides Asswholeveda) who has half a brain. Would hate to see the cat and mouse between him, Vic and Shane end.
  23. Taking it for granted that you guys are correct it makes this link (and the link found at this site leading to the great accomplishments of the BCs in 2003) even more pitiful. http://www.buffalobills.com/fans/BlueCoats.jsp
  24. That show may make the season. IM(Never)HO this was the most talented team yet and the cream did not rise to the top. The laid back and PC (happy face) contestants have been the survivors. It will be interesting to see who gets picked and how they "help".
  25. [in the interest of a balanced view ] It would help if Bush had a clue. First (per am network shows) he planned on having his Public Relations (err, Press) Conference at 8:30 which would have cut into the middle of Survivor and a movie being shown on ABC. Someone had to straighten him out. And of course 30 minutes turned into an hour (plus if he hadn't been booted). With almost every network having a news outlet and with it being pundited and replayed to death why does it even need to be on the network?
