  1. Lobbying CBS may help but the NFL is the real culprit by not mandating HD coverage in it's TV contract. Both should be emailed. BTW: CBS President Moonves will be a keynote speaker at the CES next month. Bring your signs.
  2. Caught a bit of the show (anal-ysts are Eddie George, Jason Sehorn,Tim Brown and Jay Glazer). Had good things to say about Losman but noted that he would be given alot more attention if he wasn't on "that team just south of Canada". Maybe the conspiracy fanatics around here are right.
  3. No! Next year buy two season tickets and stay home. I will send you DVD's of the game and you'll help the team and end up ahead monetarily.
  4. Actually it's 15% from the seller and 10% from the buyer PLUS a $15 handling fee OR a shipping fee of $11.95 to $24.95.Link
  5. I requested an upgrade/additional tickets near my existing and was given the party line about seniority flowdown. Choose to keep mine instead of risking less desirable seats but did request to be informed if any were available in my vicinity. Was told several months later (prior to the tickets being issued) that nothing was found. During the season I found that the two seats behind me were purchased by first time buyers. I am offended that the available seats have to be coordinated by the dysfunctional ticket office staff. Why not list all available seats and let them be chosen by seniority on-line (ie week 1 all season owners with 30+ years can purchase; week 2 25+ years ...). Also have been trying to contact the owner of the 3 seats next to me for the past 3 years. The owner has never attended a game and scalps them. Would like the opportunity to purchase them to supplement mine. All I request is that the ticket office give the owner my contact info and if the owner wishes to contact me he can. I am told this can't be done because of privacy concerns. The ticket office and associated policies should be restructured to serve the fans.
  6. Per your blog all is copacetic so why not take a load off, enjoy the holidays and do it next year. BTW per the last entry in the blog the last fund drive only got you through last Sept. Time to put up another paypal link.
  7. May be technically true but I remember eating about 4 good extra tickets in 90 that I bought with season ticket early pick rights because the best offer I could get was $10. And there were plenty of people selling them for less.
  8. So I surmise your compromise was to grow one ball?
  9. Bad planning. Next time prime her by saying you are getting something special for her and about a week early start getting nervous about it not being ready/in stock... by Christmas. When you have to make a herculean effort to go "pick it up" on Christmas Eve you can see the game, ditch the in-laws, and be a hero.
  10. If only Cleo had started the game.
  11. Any other week and I'd agree. And on an optimistic note I checked my email when I got back and my titan tickets that had been sitting on SH for $45 per for the last 3 months were sold so there may be hope. But personally I don't think there is much of a chance of a Christmas Eve game selling out.
  12. Stopping the players was big but saban was only throwing us a bone not going after the FG. I figured he would take the easy 3 to thwart the shutout. More class than I thought he had.
  13. Something tells me it will get addressed this week.
  14. Considering the newest press about Marcus Vicks and the already famous exploits of his brother Mike aka Ron; I'm thinking of making mine: The Vicks think with their Dicks!
  15. Bad phasing on my part. By public I mean those that anyone can park in for a set fee. The lots I call private lots are those that the taxpayers pay for and the DAMNED overpaid erie county water board employees and cronies use (and padlock shut) and one on the top of the hill that belongs to a taxpaying business that chooses dos not allow public usage. No offense intended Hammer. Your lot is the best party lot but saving 45 min on the trip back to Utica is the differentiator for me.
  16. No problem. Since it's cable they can just black out the affected households and leave the rest of us alone.
  17. Take him to the Titan's game. PLENTY of tickets and you can miss out on the Christmas Eve Day bickering and still make dinner.
  18. Hammer's lot is good for the annual tailgate party but does not meet your criteria. For ease, speed and frugality take T-Way Exit 49 and go down Rt 20 (Transit Rd). Take a left on California Rd and use one of the three public lots. The lot on the right is $5, the left ones are $6. $6 lots are paved; $5 can be muddy but you can get in line much easier since it's further up the hill.. The cops at the corner stop traffic regularly to let you back onto Rt 20. Just keep moving and stick to the right lane.
  19. Unless you're yall. Priceless.
  20. Get a new spell checker. It's spelled "Miami Weak"
  21. Nice. Dax managed to hijack a thread subliminally. [bTW Tater: Don't want to take away your soapbox but PM me if you really need a ticket.]
  22. PLEASE people it's AfricanAmericanOuts!
  23. I agree that it is supposed to work that way but if you click on the username and add the total points for all weeks that is the number shown in the standings, not the total points less the lowest week.
  24. From the links given I thought this was a joke. Still is I guess just the "truth is stranger than fiction" variety. Real Link No email update from the Bills PR dept to update the 12/5 info that it had been changed. Probably will see it next week sometime.
