I usually bristle at these rankings, but in this case I have no argument against. At some point we were joking about Allen throwing purposeful interceptions on 4th to keep the ST unit off the field.

People want to compare McD to Jauron because he has a tendency to get conservative. But with our offense vs. defense rosters this year, conservative was the only way to win. It was the rational choice during the transition year. I agree they are building a very non-Jauron offense and we are in for a fun ride. Josh was not drafted to be part of a conservative offense.

I get the sense Josh would take a $1 contract if he were guaranteed a SB run. His agent may not let him, but he would want to. His family isn't Rosen rich, but they aint poor, and he's not in this for the money. He wants to be a Sunday afternoon hero and he knows he needs a supporting cast.

I actually did cancel ST after Chan's second season. Have saved a lot of money. ? I don't blame Chan tho. There was a lot of talk on the board about how we needed "football men" at OBD and Chix seemed like gold old-fashioned "football men". But they couldn't cancel out Russ and the rest. My guess would be that Russ had RW's ear and Chix couldn't get a word in edgewise.
