  1. I respect Shaw and enjoy almost all of his takes, but this is one, and a subject, that is best kept to oneself. Acknowledging his greatness as a football player is one thing. It's the truth, the records exist and it's okay to go back and fondly relive the memories of watching him play. Hell, even forgiving him in your heart for his egregious sins, while not a popular stance with 95% of human beings, is certainly within the realm of what I might find acceptable for a practicing Christian. But wishing him well and hoping he's found peace? I just can't see how someone who was such a bad person can ever be afforded this kind of compassion. To me it feels like a violation of the Goldmans and Browns. I'm not one who thinks he should be taunted or attacked every day for the rest of his life by passersby - there's already enough hate and negative energy in the world - so I just say completely ignore him as if he no longer exists. He is a man completely controlled by ego. He needs to feel important, so ignore him and refuse to feed it.
  2. Gotta say the end of these Sunday games the first two weeks have been awesome.
  3. I missed the morning games while playing in a golf tournament. So it looks like to Tua still sucks, the Colts are definitely pretenders and Lamar is going scorched Earth in his contract year.
  4. I don't get it. I guess it's for the new generation of ADHD/Social Media diseased fans.
  5. I feel like we're the better team, but the Titans tend to play us tough. Tanny is a savvy vet with some mobility. I'll go Bills 34 - Titans 21, but the game is closer than the final score indicates, and the game is in doubt until at least midway through the 4th quarter.
  6. I thought Mahomes was pretty bad last night, but he still scares the bejeezus out of me as a Bills fan. Until we beat him in the playoffs, he's our bugaboo.
  7. I agree and I like Herbert. But he hasn't made the playoffs and it's not like he doesn't have a ton of talent around him. I don't quite understand how that team hasn't been more dominant over the past couple of years.
  8. Herbert reminds me of Marino. Stands tall in the pocket and can throw a beautiful ball, but I wonder if he isn't missing that extra special something that takes you from great passer to great leader. Time will tell.
  9. Thank you. This Josh = Cam Newton narrative is hot take garbage. Newton was never close to the passer that Josh has been over the past 2+ seasons, only cracked 60% completion percentage twice, never touched 4000 yards, AND he was injured in the pocket. Randall Cunningham was a running QB and he played until he was 38 and was a first team all-pro (MVP runner up) in his age 35 season.
  10. I wouldn't read too much into that video. Looks as if he's taped up, so that would be effecting his gait. He's not in a boot and he's out there on his feet moving around, so he's probably not that far off. Guessing he'll be a gametime decision on Monday, and he'll definitely be ready to roll week 3 in Miami.
  11. If these guys are borderline to play, then just continue to let them rest and heal up. I've got to think Ed Oliver will be ready to go by Monday, but Settle, not so sure.
  12. Well, obviously. But if we had to play a road playoff game against one of these two teams, I'd much rather play in front of a neutral crowd in LA than in KC (yet again).
  13. Yeah, I think Josh sort of wanted to give all of America "the Josh Allen Experience" on the national stage. I've seen him slide or duck out of bounds plenty over the past couple of years. The hits he takes are being overblown and the narrative is being pushed by the national media, especially by many folks who have finally begrudgingly given Josh respect only to add the caveat that it won't last due to his style of play.
  14. Love his comments on the rookie CBs. You can tell the team has a ton of confidence in them. If we can stay relatively healthy, this defense is going to be SICK once Tre gets back.
  15. I'd prefer that we not throw a house on Josh Allen, but that's just me.
  16. I hate the wait this week, but otherwise love the primetime games. Lets me get in another beach day or round of golf on Sundays here in sunny SoCal. 😀
  17. I think the Bills and Chiefs are 1A and 1B in which ever order you'd like. Looking at yardage and points, very similar levels of domination by both teams. They have separated themselves as the class of the NFL. If I were to put the Bills No. 1, it's because I don't think Arizona is a good team, which was reflected in them being a 6 point dog to the Chiefs at home. They've been trending poorly since the second half of 2021 and they are without Hopkins. But still a dominant road win by the Chiefs and they answered the post-Tyreek question emphatically.
  18. He is up there with the worst I've ever seen. Jim Tomsula level. Shockingly bad.
  19. Hackett staking an early claim to worst NFL head coach.
  20. Dumb challenge
  21. Lol. He's got a crap ton of weapons. Hackett just can't scheme at all. He stinks.
  22. Hackett sucks. So glad we have Dorsey (and Allen).
