Are we/media setting ourselves up for a defensive battle?
TheBrownBear replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. I just don't see it. Way too much offensive talent on the field to see something low scoring like that. Weather is supposed to be perfect too. I don't think it will be a ridiculous track meet like that Rams game, but I expect something like 34-31. -
Sorry to hear that, man. We (me, my kids and my parents) just got it this past weekend. Was just a minor cold (post-nasal drip, sore throat and light cough) for maybe 48 hours. Back out riding my bike today and I felt good, but noticed that my heart rate was elevated compared to my effort level. Hope you're feeling better soon.

It's elite level Dad-jokery. You're just not there yet.

The Pats have some terrible free agent contracts
TheBrownBear replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Henry is a good player, but the rest are just meh for sure. I didn't understand the signing of Jonnu Smith. Guy is overrated and was completely unnecessary with the signing of Hunter Henry. -
KC has been the best defense in the NFL since signing Ingram and moving Clark back inside. The offense is clicking again at full speed. I view the Bills as an underdog. Doesn't mean we can't win, but it's going to take a hell of game and an effort like we saw on Saturday or we are heading to the golf course next Monday.

When it's too cold for them.. it's just RIGHT for us

When it's too cold for them, it's just right for.............................A DOME! -
Not sure, but I know he was a college teammate and roommate of former Bill, Ross Tucker, at Princeton. And I like Brandt. His pure enthusiasm and willingness to dork out and embarrass himself is endearing as far as I'm concerned. Yeah, but he was also a college football player and cut his teeth in sports radio for years on Jim Rome's program. He's not some clueless soap opera actor. He knows his stuff.

Not sure how he got a raw deal. Got to achieve his dream of being a head coach and he's being paid handsomely to sit around for the next two years. Culley wasn't on anyone's radar as a HC candidate. There wasn't a team in the league that was going to hire a 65 year old with no head coaching experience, except for the Texans that is. And still, remember how shocked everyone was when they announced the hire?

Coldest Games in Buffalo/Saturday #2?
TheBrownBear replied to Buffalo Boy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was at the three coldest games. #2 and #3 were damn cold, not much fun, but still bearable. But that Raiders game...damn that was cold and miserable. Dad and I got to our seats and there was a full foot of ice on them. We basically huddled together and never moved the entire time. We both wanted to drink hot chocolate from our thermos but didn't dare take off our gloves so it just sat undrunk the entire game. -
Josh reveals he suffers from poor circulation
TheBrownBear replied to UConn James's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh winning Angry Runs this week for his devastating use of the "stiffy" on Matt Judon.
