Here we go again with a new QB

Hell, we even had an elite punter and FG kicker! This team actually sold the punter's jersey in the team store! LOL -

imagine being Ryan Groy... Groy: Well, looks like I'll definitely get to start for once! McBeane: Actually Ryan, we see you as the PERFECT swing guy to back up our street free agent guards/centers! -

We've had elite DE, DT, CB, WR G, C, RB all on the same team at one time. And we have ONE playoff game (in which we scored 3 freaking points) in 17 years to show for it. Let's try having an elite QB. -

On the retire vs. take a pay cut topic, it's a little bit of a fallacy to try to compare Richie's situation to that of a "normal" worker. For example, if I made $5 million last year and my job said "you can take 2.5 million or leave" I COULD just call it quits and never need to worry about money OR just come back for 1 more year and bank the 2.5 extra as a cushion. It would be totally about choice either way. If I make $40,000 and my job says "take 20K or leave" I might be stuck, at least temporarily, because I probably don't have several lifetimes worth of $$ stashed away in a bank so I couldn't just walk. -

I hope he is okay... I've heard him on John Murphy's show and he seems like a pretty smart guy who wouldn't just go off the handle and walk away from football like this, especially given how thankful he was to be back in the game. It just doesn't make sense at all. -

Richie is just screwing around with everyone... -

Is this actually confirmed, or is this all part of some master smokescreen strategy? If it's true that Richie is in bad shape I truly feel for the guy, but it just sounds like he's screwing around with everyone. Doesn't seem like a very professional way to end your career. -

First it was Cyrus wandering around naked in a field in the middle of the night, then Zay going out of his mind trying to crusade for Jesus, now Richie going on some bizarre twitter tirade that makes no sense... WTF is in the water over there? -

Take this with a grain of salt of course, but I'm hearing that Baker Mayfield got into town early for tomorrow's meeting and walked right up to Richie and told him YOU ARE FIRED! No word on why Baker let him go, but I'm sure more will come out soon... -

There has to be something going on here... This is totally bizarre behavior -

This cannot be serious... There is just no way that Richie isn't screwing around with everyone. -

Well, then goodbye Richie. Thank you for your service here, and enjoy retirement. We cannot be held up by a guard who has maybe a year or two left. -
Brandon beane the new Tim Murray?
TheFunPolice replied to QBorBust2018's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How can you say Beane choked? WHAT IF (theoretically) Beane has a deal in place with Gettleman (and maybe the Browns too) and just needs to be 100% sure before he agrees to execute the deal? -
Given USC QB's & Bills/USC History @ QB ...

To be fair, we haven't seen the results of it on the field. For all we know, JR might be ready to start in the league now tat he has had plenty of time to learn and develop... -

What are you going to say if the Bills execute a 3 way trade with the Browns and Giants that ends up with the Bills picking 2, the Giants 4, and the Browns 1? -

What I'm getting out of this thread is that Jamarcus is only 32, going on 33 this summer. If we can sign that guy I'll bet he has a good 7-8 years left, especially given the lack of hits he has taken in recent years! -
Billicheat ripped Gronkowski for using TB12 Method
TheFunPolice replied to Punching Bag's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really want this all to go very badly for them this season. Hopefully Brady takes a major step back and things get really ugly. From a distance, it is amazing how success tears groups apart. Sports teams, bands, companies... They have a system that puts them all in a spot to always win and make tons of money, yet the egos eventually (hopefully) ruin it all. -
Mayfield flies in tonight AND brings with him the warm spring weather... Coincidence? I don't think so. Baker's entourage includes the sun!
-
these visits must be exhausting for the players... Imagine having to travel across the country for a job interview every day for the next 3 weeks.

Billicheat ripped Gronkowski for using TB12 Method
TheFunPolice replied to Punching Bag's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seattle runs the ball and Atlanta doesn't choke and Brady and his stupid TB12 method" are 3-5 in the Super Bowl. But since Russell Wilson threw an INT to Malcomb Butler and Matt Ryan choked Brady is the greatest of all time, and it cannot even be argued. Sports! I can't wait to start stacking some years onto Brady's last season, hopefully one in which he plays awful and finally looks his age. Then all the "smart" young fans and media will tell us some new guy is the best of all time and anyone who mentions Brady will be scoffed at. -
Grizzled "old school coach" to his player (with spit flying everywhere): NOW RUN THROUGH THAT BRICK WALL SON! Knock that sumofagun over! Hit it straight on, full speed! Player: Coach, I could just walk around it. Save my body from taking that type of impact... Coach: Damn millennials! I SAID BASH YOUR SKULL INTO THOSE BRICKS SON! DO IT NOW! Scramble those two brain cells you have in there! I want to be able to scoop custard out of your ears! Player: I'm already past the wall coach!
