Those comments were Rob Johnson in a nutshell: nasty, entitled, arrogant, mean-spirited, and blaming everyone but himself for his (multiple) failures. I feel nothing but scorn for Rob. At least guys like EJ Manuel and JP Losman worked their butts off here and did everything they could. I have no ill will toward either of those guys. I knew people who became pretty close friends with Losman. If anything, he might have been a little too emotional and wanted it too much. But Rob... LOL

I really hope the Browns take Allen because then it prevents the Bills from making that blunder. Rosen, Darnold and Mayfield are all interesting to me for different reasons. Allen I have 0 interest in and would have to work to get excited.

How does a thread about how pathetic Rob Johnson was/is have anything to do with Tyrod? Tyrod worked his butt off here and earned the respect of his team. He may not be a great QB, but nobody questioned his desire or toughness. He showed his character in staying positive and being a team player even after taking a pay cut and then being benched for Peterman. Rob was a part-time QB, entitled, injury prone, and divisive in the locker room. In short, he thought his mere presence here was enough to warrant him starting, and he is still whining about it 20 year later.

They just made a documentary about him for NFL Network. He is a star in the football world. Rob Johnson is a footnote in the history of the Bills. Heck, many Bills fans probably don't even know who he is anymore, let alone fans of the sport in general.

How did Flutie become such a big name, for so long, with so many iconic moments in pro football, if he wasn't any good? 15 years from now will anybody but Bills fans even remember Tyrod Taylor or Rob Johnson? We already know the answer, so it becomes about attacking Flutie, whose only sin here was being a star QB when the team needed to sell luxury boxes to remain in WNY.

The Bills could pick 3 times in round 1... Take both of NE's picks to move down, let them take Jackson and then snag Rudolph, a LB, and a T/WR

This could save the Bills from overspending. Gettleman can draft his "HOF RB" who will probably play second fiddle to some guy drafted in round 3 who comes out of nowhere and lights up the league, like seems to happen every year.

Hue Jackson is employed because ownership dictated it, and will be gone the first chance the GM gets to fire him. His major accomplishment as a head coach will be somehow not getting fired after going 0-16. Haley will be HC by mid-season, and then the GM can finally hire a coach he actually wants.

Flutie accomplished more in his pro football career (CFL and NFL) than Johnson could dream of. Every football fan knows Doug Flutie. Rob Johnson is a footnote in the history of a team that hasn't been relevant outside of WNY in a generation. Advantage Flutie. They even made a Football Life episode about him. I think they might have mentioned Rob in Flutie's episode for a few minutes.

Gettleman sounds like a GM from the 1970's. In fairness, he might have actually been a GM back in 1970.

Last year AND this year you have the management and ownership dining with QBs, talking to QBs and the fans talking about nothing but QB. They are drafting a QB. Sadly, last year might have actually been a much better spot to take your QB with Watson and Mahomes just sitting there. For whatever reason I think you need to be in the top 5-6 picks to have a shot at one of the top 4 this time around. They are just going to have to pay the price.
