  1. I absolutely believe Daboll has kept a decent part of the offense under wraps in anticipation of this game. We will break trends.
  2. Over the last 20 years no Bills coach has a good record against the Pats*** -- but this may be the best (i.e., most balanced) offense we've taken into a game with them in quite some time. I'm confident in McD's ability to scheme against their offense and limit them to ~20 pts if there are no crazy turnovers...the key is finding ways to score and that's on Daboll. Statistically speaking, the Pats*** D is due for a "bad" game -- at least that's what I'm telling myself.
  3. Bills are +255 just put a couple of bucks down.
  4. If they thought that game was loud...just stop by around 1:00 this Sunday...
  5. This is 100% not what is going on. But please continue, it's entertaining reading. That sounds bulky. That's hilarious, JamesX -- I just posted this same pic minutes ago without scrolling the entire thread.
  6. Do you also use a tiny floppy disk?
  7. The Rams had been getting high 1st round picks for years, accumulating talent while Jeff Fisher undercoached them. McVay didn't come in and trade for a lot of stars or sign a lot of high-priced free agents. He had his QB, RB, and DT stud already on the roster.
  8. Hey man, I'm just stating facts. Starting the season 0-2 at home is no way for a "contender" to perform. Talk to me about Baltimore after next week.
  9. Vincent Taylor, come on down...you're the next contestant on the Buffalo Bills' DT rotation!
  10. Per ESPN's Marcel on Twitter. Bummer.
  11. Right, and how many of those points were scored by the Pats*** defense or because of short fields given up by Buffalo's poor offense? News flash -- if Buffalo's offense shows up to play the way it has so far this season, this will be a tightly-contested ballgame.
  12. BBFS at its finest!
  13. Yeah, the only problem with your prediction is that this is exactly what has happened in the first four McD/Belichick matchups. McD doesn't have a problem scheming the Bills' D to limit the Pats*** effectiveness, he just hasn't had a competent offense until (hopefully) now. If Josh shows he has learned from his first Belichick exposure and the Bills' offense plays the way it has for the first three weeks of the season, this should be a ball game into the 4th quarter.
  14. I agree, it's absurd. I don't think the Pats*** will get more than 1-2 so we'll probably end up with 7-8 combined.
  15. This may sound like a dumb statement (and maybe it is) but I bet Belichick isn't thrilled that the Pats*** haven't even been tested in the 2nd half of any of their games so far this season. He knows that a team needs to keep its edge and they have been gifted three opening Ws against overmatched opponents -- particularly the last two weeks.
  16. If the Bills had played remotely well on offense last year they'd have been right in the thick of both games. I think it's a reasonable statement to say the Bills are demonstrably better on offense to start 2019, and their defense is the same if not better. Yes, the Pats*** are playing well but this game is not set up to be a laugher.
  17. By losing two of their first three they've put themselves in a real tough spot...four of the next five are on the road (@BAL, @SF, SEA, @NE***, @DEN). By the time they catch a "break" playing the Broncos they might already be out of it at 1-6. Wow.
  18. The Bills play four of the next five at The Cap...when I predicted 10-6 I did have them starting 3-0 but penciled in losses to NE*** and Philly during the first half of the season. With Philly looking extremely vulnerable now I believe next week may be the only game in which Buffalo is not favored. After the Pats*** they go to Tennessee, then the bye, and then a three-game homestand vs. Miami, Philly, and Washington. That is followed by a trip to Cleveland and Miami, then back home for Denver. 10-1 going to Dallas for Thanksgiving? S-H-I-T, anything is possible.
  19. Yes, I was just going to add this. He absolutely destroyed the DB on that running play. Knocked him out of the game for a bit.
  20. Josh Allen is now 8-5 in games he starts and finishes, and has won his last 4. Including the season-ending win vs. Miami Allen's passing statistics are: 83/129 (64.3%) for 974 yards (7.5 ypa) with 6 TDs and 4 INTs, and throw in another 4 rushing TDs. Nobody was more disappointed by the pick yesterday than I was, but EVERY Bills fan should be uber-excited about the fact we appear to have a bonafide franchise-caliber starting QB on this team -- and Allen still hasn't started a full season's worth of games. THAT is my observation/takeaway from the 3-0 start.
  21. No, but I remember a week THREE matchup between the 2-0 Bills and 2-0 Pats*** in Buffalo in 2011 -- the last time the Bills started the season 3-0. But to your point -- it's true that nobody really expects the Bills win this game or the line wouldn't be where it is. I was saying to friends yesterday during the 4th quarter that while I was disappointed in Allen's gaffe that let Cinci back in the game, this is exactly the sort of win the team needs heading in to Pats*** week. Any euphoria about being 3-0 was squashed and they know they have work to do. It was a very good lesson for a team learning how to win (and how not to lose). I'm confident they will be very well prepared for the Pats*** on Sunday. That doesn't guarantee anything other than I don't believe it will be a laugher and they should have an opportunity in the 4th -- if Josh can keep a lid on the turnover can.
  22. Josh is a work in progress. Those who don’t understand that will continue to be frustrated by the inevitable valleys that come with the incredible peaks. We saw both today.
  23. Frank Gore was very good last week. I’m sorry you can’t see that. He’s not a problem. Go Bills
  24. These two teams aren’t very good.
  25. Exactly. The scouting report on Josh coming into this season was take away the deep ball and take away the scramble. So far in the first two games he has flipped the script and shown he can work the short and intermediate stuff. Good luck defensive coordinators.
