  1. Agree with those saying it was not a "Sanders or Diggs" situation. The Bills wanted both.
  2. Yeah he was a Bill...and he missed a kick that would have ended the Miami streak against Buffalo a year earlier.
  3. Interesting that they are confident enough to put a schedule out there, but I suppose by May 9 we'll have a better idea as to how effective social distancing measures have been...I still have my doubts about there being a season.
  4. You’re a damaged little girl afraid to love again. Sorry the Bills disappointed you by exceeding your gloom and doom projections last season. Godspeed brother.
  5. I will have no problem with Beane giving Dawkins a market-value contract extension for an above-average starting LT.
  6. "Especially if you're gonna downweigh QB" -- They can't help themselves. As I always say, PFF is short for Pffffffft.
  7. Great point. They are due; nature loves an average.
  8. I started a thread last week (that got shut down because people couldn't stay on topic and turned it into a COVID thread) in which I opined that teams with the most stability (coaching staff/roster) will have a big advantage if teams can't have their full complement of minicamp, OTAs, and training camp. I think this translates into a lot of sound betting advice, which has been noted by the OP.
  9. I think great QBs elevate those around them. Nobody is calling Josh Allen "great" yet, but he just gave John Brown his best year ever and came a smidge away from doing the same for Cole Beasley (career high TDs, 2nd-most yards). This offense is going to be something with Diggs, and Josh Allen will continue to open eyes this season.
  10. Oh I'm not calling him a bust by any means...I bet he is a bit envious of the organization his good buddy Josh got drafted into, though.
  11. @BillfromNYC pretty hard to argue with those first two picks...
  12. I know you already know this, but playing good football when your season is already over (as the Jets did after W7 last year) is much different than playing well in games that matter.
  13. I'm sure Timmah Graham has already posted an update to his story with news of the Pegulas' generosity and donations during this crisis, along with an analysis of what has happened to the hospitality industry in general....right? Right?
  14. Others have already responded but Anderson is a better player than Perriman. And as for surrounding their QB with talent...the Jets gave Darnold Anderson, Crowder, Bell...if people start claiming Darnold "hasn't been given a chance" to explain why Allen is having more success I'm going to call b.s.
  15. This is another one of those "not everyone should be able to start new posts" examples, I hate to say...
  16. RIP. @YoloinOhio, you can't possibly have meant to laugh at the OP?
  17. I'm willing to bet Beane isn't one of the guys begging for postponement.
  18. ScottLaw loves it. J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets!
  19. I'll go ahead and say it here -- if you follow the NFL and you don't believe the Bills are a legitimate contender in 2020, you're really not paying much attention. The writers who have me shaking my head are the ones who continue to predict the Pats*** will win the East or that the Fish are primary contenders. The Pats*** have huge question marks throughout their roster and while the Fish have been active, they're still relying upon Fitzmagic (or perhaps a rookie). The Chiefs, Ravens, Bills, and Titans are the best-positioned clubs entering this season in the AFC. I believe Tannehill will revert back to the mean and scuttle the Titans' chances, but he brings continuity until further notice. I also believe Lamar won't ever duplicate last season now that teams have good tape of how to slow him down (Bills, Titans). Which leaves us with the Chiefs and Bills.
  20. I know. Just responded to the last post, which was you responding to someone who complained about the signing.
  21. I may not have posted it on this board, but I've told others that the 24 ppg mark as an offense is my benchmark. I have no concerns whatsoever about the defense provided there are no catastrophic injuries. If the Bills can average at least 24 ppg this season they will win 12. The Bills are now capable of putting out 11 personnel that rivals anything in the league -- and that's Daboll's favorite personnel grouping. When (not if) Josh shows he has continued to develop, this offense will take off.
  22. I think it's obvious to anyone with a brain that the Bills aren't "committed" to McKenzie after re-signing him to a 1-year cheap-as-dirt contract, but he was productive at times and it's possible he develops further. I don't understand folks who are critical of contracts like these because they are easily terminated at minimal loss to the team. It's literally a no-risk deal for the Bills to bring back a guy familiar with the offense who has some skills and fits the culture.
  23. Along with the rest of the league.
  24. I could see the Jags bringing him in.
  25. LOL you just mentioned three 1st rounders...not quite the same as a raw 7th round prospect. But that was the point of the thread -- what do others think about Johnson's potential.
