  1. That clip was money. They wanted Davis to fall so they could grab him. "Just run a 4.58." Love that these guys don't get enamored with 40 times and are looking for football players. And how many times did McD say "someone who will catch the ball" when talking about WRs? The dude gets it, unlike some around here believe. He knows why the passing game suffered last year, and it wasn't because of Josh's iNacCuRacY.
  2. Fraudulent site, trying to play off the legitimate CBS Sportsline feed...check out the handle...they are using an 'l' instead of an 'i'... Shut this down.
  3. I don't know why this is so difficult. By getting more exposure, yes, more minorities will have opportunities to show they are best suited for the job. It's still up to them to prove they deserve being hired.
  4. Seriously. If we were defending Josh Allen for a similar throw we'd be laughed off the board. That said, the Ravens, Chiefs, and Bills are going to be battling for AFC supremacy for the foreseeable future. Some other teams will pop up here and there but these are going to be the most consistent three of the 2020s.
  5. It's gonna be the biggest year of his life (to date).
  6. Judging from your post history, I don't doubt that for a second. p.s. sometimes the crowd is right
  7. The rule improves minorities’ exposure, it doesn’t improve their chances. In theory the best man/woman gets the job — the NFL is simply saying you need to interview a broader range of candidates when making your choice.
  8. Meh. No sense of humor as usual.
  9. Yes, so you agree with me. Thanks for your support.
  10. Me too. Didn't understand that signing from the get-go.
  11. I have to think that the idiot must actually believe it. I mean, why would Tom Freaking Brady be pimping health supplements? He's already richer than God and certainly doesn't need the money or publicity. The doofus just believes that this crap works. It's not like we don't have other figures in high places believing in magic elixirs with no proof of efficacy.
  12. I think Josh Allen will be fine, but man, it would have been nice if he had been able to learn for a season behind Fitz. The first half of Josh's rookie season was pretty lost, at least until they brought DA in.
  13. Me too! Always looked for #77. RIP. My 10-year-old self says it hurt worse. I loved that 1980 team.
  14. Well, to be fair, neither are considered "deep threats" and that's the area Josh seems to be focusing on.
  15. Tremendous interview. Literally every time I hear Beane speak I thank my lucky stars he came to Buffalo. He and McD are building a monster.
  16. Josh is just a smart guy and completely dedicated to being great. His release is quick; he has still been learning how to play QB because he started playing the position relatively "late" in his young life. He has had SO much catching up to do. I really think he's going to jump off the page this season; the crowd who thought he'd never make it will be eating heaping servings of crow.
  17. Raw only counts for so long, you're right, but I certainly think he gets three full seasons before he's "all growns up."
  18. I agree we'll see a huge jump this season, but I disagree that's "all he has left." Josh was so raw coming out of college that he will continue to learn and develop over the next several years.
  19. My thinking is top-10 means a star. Top "half" means that 15-20 range that doesn't wow anyone but isn't awful.
  20. I’m curious...lots of talk about this and that. What do you predict?
  21. You don't have to agree with me. I think homefield advantage is a fun concept for fans, to believe they are part of the outcome. In my opinion, good teams are focused even more on the road and therefore the "advantage" to the home team is minimized. As some others have noted in the thread, getting too "pumped up" by your home crowd can lead to less-than-ideal performances, particularly early in games.
  22. Calm down, man. I didn't say it was "no" factor, I said it is overblown. I also suggested that it helps bad teams more than good ones. These are all OPINIONS. I believe if NFL games are played without fans the teams who will be most negatively impacted are the bad teams.
