  1. Very gutsy win by the Bills yesterday. I knew Miami would come out swinging and they played perhaps as well as they can play. Still, the game was only close because of a couple of horrible calls and the Coleman gaffe. The back-to-back holds on Dawkins and O’Torrence were atrocious. Unbelievable moment for Bass and the bottom line is that they found a way to get it done.
  2. Exactly. It was 21-10 and we had the ball at midfield, when Brady had his WTF moment. If we play "normal" football at that point the game could have very well gone in a different direction. I don't think that W4 result is at all indicative of what might happen down the road in the playoffs.
  3. Glad to see someone else thought this. I was at a Halloween party so only kept one eye on the game (with no sound), but when I was watching I just thought how bad both teams looked.
  4. IMHO you think incorrectly. If you can get open and catch the ball in this league you are valuable. Shakir is only starting to scratch the surface.
  5. And in other breaking news, Federalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead.
  6. We were taught that in Little League. Just a huge brain fart, particularly for a starting pitcher.
  7. I feel like Codrington is going to break one soon...and Solomon almost blocked a punt last week. ST are actually my main area of concern with this team, which is why I'm happy they got Codrington.
  8. I guess you don't recall the days of holding your breath on each punt return.
  9. All of his kicks the past two weeks have been dead straight. He was quoted as saying he treats a 30-yard kick just like a 50-yard kick so I think this bodes well for the rest of the season.
  10. Codrington would be a pretty significant loss. Despite his gaffe last week (catching punt at the 2) he has been a very pleasant surprise in the return game. Hope the fact he rejoined practice means it was just a temporary scare.
  11. I hate myself for being sucked in by that blowhard. The only games he cared about while coaching the Bills were the two against the Jets each year.
  12. I'd like to thank the NY Yankees for coming up with perhaps the Billsy-est way to lose a World Series game in history! Well done, lads.
  13. I'm still pissed at the Texans loss. Allen's worst game since W1 of last year, and we still almost won. They really don't scare me. I think I'd rather see the Jets dead and buried.
  14. Yes, I think this is accurate. Von has not yet been a difference maker for this team. Mario was a difference maker, even though the team still stunk.
  15. I simply cannot listen to Chris Brown interview anyone. He has diarrhea of the mouth and tries to answer his own questions before he finally shuts up to let the guy speak. Just awful style. So glad I don't listen to games on the radio.
  16. I knew there had to be something I didn't like about Josh. Found it.
  17. Damn. RIP.
  18. 55-61-1 (Bills are 4-1 in the playoffs)
  19. There's so much separatist talk on this board you'd think we were in 16th or 17th century England.
  20. Regarding Peters...yes, I do think he should have been appreciative of being plucked as an undrafted free agent TE and developed into an all-pro LT. I understand the business side of it and maximizing your earning potential when you are a professional athlete. I just didn't like the way he did it and I don't see the point in blaming fans for anything. I do acknowledge the Bills were a dysfunctional s-h-i-t-show at the time. And yes, Wolford and his agent screwed the Bills.
  21. By the way, folks, the Bills are only three more wins away from evening the all-time series with the stinking Fish, despite going 0-for-20 in the 70s. The series record currently stands at 59-62-1 (including playoffs).
  22. Let's ease up just a bit. "Spaz" is commonly used to refer to someone who is awkward or clumsy, which is clearly how Brady intended it and how most of us (in the States) used it growing up. If we want to say that now it is not PC to use the term, fine, but it's not like anyone using the term the way Brady did is mocking people with disabilities.
  23. So you're saying the Fish now have our entire gameplan for this week? We are DOOOOOOOOOMED!!!
  24. To be fair, Brady was saying that Josh used to play that way...
