  1. if you’re living your life in a puritan manner and taking this stand without hypocrisy, more power to you. I guess we shouldn’t call Michael Jackson the King of Pop or recognize his musical talent and contributions to music either.
  2. So…should we take back all awards and recognition of any significant accomplishment in the sporting world (or otherwise) if the recipient later commits a crime or does something horrible, even when that bad act has nothing to do with the award or accomplishment? It seems like that’s what you’re suggesting. If the Bills went and took OJ’s name down from their ring of fame it would only draw more attention to it. His sports achievements are what they are (which is legendary). It was a huge mistake the way MLB treated Pete Rose, and because of that treatment the story lived on for much longer get than it ever should have. I’m not comparing gambling with murder but there are some parallels.
  3. Sounds like you need a new hobby!
  4. Real good look, dude, coming in here to defend Hill given his history. Wait, I bet you think women usually “have it coming” too, right?
  5. Do we know if this guy can even get the exchange right with Josh? Sincerely, Far too many posters last offseason
  6. The annual late season push to mediocrity is under full swing. Geesh. That 13-game losing streak looms so freaking large.
  7. At 59-45 Dook’s win probability was 99%. That’s an epic choke job.
  8. Which is hilarious and not at all what I want to see if I’m a Raider fan.
  9. Hahaha…Duck Fook. 10 years of the most 5-star recruits in the country, a stockpile of dark NIL money, and no championship game appearances! 😂
  10. Why do people want to get rid of Cook this year? He’s under contract and will be motivated to play for his next deal. He was the second most important player on offense for the Bills last year. Who cares what he asked for? He’s not going to sit out.
  11. Structural steel, brother…structural steel.
  12. Along those lines…I wonder if there is not a plan for some economic development (besides just stadium parking) in the vacated space? I’m not a planner but perhaps some dining, retail…something that OP and other area residents would visit year-round, with special events scheduled around game/other stadium event days?
  13. Yeah, you pretty much just ignored everything I typed. Edit: and your “sour grapes” comment makes absolutely no sense. What is McD “sour” over? He didn’t lose to the Eagles, and he admitted the Bills use a form of the TP that he thinks is safer.
  14. Don’t forget Tessitore. He’s still one of their main guys, and he’s awful.
  15. I’m gonna take a wild guess that the Bills wind up with only 7 or 8 draft selections after Beane wheels and deals to move up in a couple of spots. DB, DL, and WR are no-brainer selections. Beane always takes a mid-to-late round LB or OL, and I see a late round P. 2 DL 2 DB 1 WR 1 LB 1 OL 1 P That’s my stab in the dark.
  16. Apparently the last piece of steel is being placed on Friday, and the stadium is “50% complete.” Can’t wait to see this place.
  17. I love it! I’m bored after Christmas morning, and having the NFL on in the background makes it feel like Thanksgiving (a superior holiday anyway).
  18. I’ve had “1BFLO” here in NC ever since Pegula bought the Bills.
  19. Rarely is one post so completely and succinctly wrong. Well done, you.
  20. Yeah, that’s not the issue. McD has addressed this, acknowledging the Bills run a “variant” of the TP and “we’re quite good at it.” The issue is safety and how long it will be before a QB is injured as a result of the way his body is angled. McD was very specific about how Josh stays more vertical, whereas Hurts lowers his head and becomes horizontal - significantly raising the risk of injury. Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t.
  21. Yeah, I phrased that poorly. What I meant to say is people like the national media. Now we are being praised for our retention of players, etc.
  22. The Bills are just a well run organization. People around the league are finally starting to see it.
  23. The continued obsession by some over a dome is funny to me. The new stadium is going to be beautiful, comfortable, and protect the majority of fans from the elements…and as you said, it’s a fallacy that domed stadiums create lots of opportunities for other events. They’ll still host spring/summer concerts and a dome isn’t needed for that.
  24. I think that’s exactly right. Players have to be aware of the market and not take deals that are significantly undervalued. It’s a union, after all. Josh did just about all he could to keep the market stabilized and still give the Bills flexibility. We all know he wants to win more than anything else, and I love to hear a guy who has common sense and emotional intelligence also (the “what does 5M more do for me?” comment).
