I meant Brandt is the only star NOW. @GunnerBill yeah, yeah, we know you despise Brandt, but objectively speaking he's the only member of the GMFB cast right now who is truly marketable.
-
The only star on that show is Brandt. Shrags is annoying but when Kay and Nate were there you could overlook it. Now he has to try to carry the show and that’s not what anyone is looking for.

Yes, the annual Bills-Lions preseason game was solely a Ralph thing.

Was that Zach Moss run actually impressive?
eball replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is a 27-yard run in the NFL ever UN-impressive? Wait — I take that back. Daniel Jones had a pretty unimpressive long run a couple of years ago. Carry on. Preseason threads are awesome. -
Guys, guys, guys…come on, @FilthyBeast is a filthy troll and he keeps sucking you all in. Let him rot on the vine…

I’m going to get some eye rolls here, but I think the Chargers’ coach is a problem…for them. Staley strikes me as a guy who absolutely believes he’s the smartest one in the room and is going to do everything in his power to prove himself right rather than learn from his mistakes. Maybe I’m wrong — after all, I’m watching this from 30,000 feet — but last year he cost them the playoffs. It’s not often you can point directly to a head coach and say that. The Bolts certainly have a roster to respect.

Damn Scott you made a funny!

Terry Hills—Jim Kelly’s 35th Annual Celeb Golf Tournament
eball replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
The bolded is absolutely true, but Jim offering his opinion publicly as if he has input into the Bills' offense is not helping anyone. If word of that got to Dorsey I'm pretty certain I know what his reaction was. -
Terry Hills—Jim Kelly’s 35th Annual Celeb Golf Tournament

Yeah, and when I read that the first thing that popped into my head was, "shut up, Jim." -
Jordan Palmer - XFL’s Director of QB Development
eball replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
In other words -- no impact on offseason work with Josh. -
No, Greg. Just no. I understand why people are saying things like this, but it's not realistic. Keenum and Barkley came into the league at the same time and their comparative productivity is not even close. Keenum's career QB rating is 20 points higher than Barkley's, with a considerably larger data sample. He's just learning the offense. That's what preseason is for. Barkley will be around all year on the PS if needed in an emergency. He's Josh Allen's designated BFF -- and that's all we want him to be.

Not at all. The end is the best!
-
Well, he’ll have plenty of time to get some more neck tattoos.

LOL what a silly statement. I’m “one of those posters” who believes everyone should be treated with kindness and not be subjected to a blowhard who belittles anyone who doesn’t agree with him and then goes so far as to make up stuff to defend his points and then personally attack those who stand up to him. Got it? Go Freaking Bills!!!! 20-0, babyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

Hey @Royale with Cheese, see this? 🤣😂 Damn, we are in this guy’s head. So predictable.

Please find any post in which I asserted this. I'll wait........................................................................................................

Help me with the fuzzy math here. Crowder has a 75% chance of making the team, McKenzie "has shown a propensity to lose every job" (huh?), no mention at all of Hodgins, and that adds up to a "good" possibility Shakir is the starting slot receiver by mid-season? You made more sense when you were just leaving out pertinent quotes. I won't at all be surprised if the Bills sign OBJ once he's healthy. It makes a lot of sense going into the stretch run for this team.
-
That's an unusual way to spell Phil. I kid. I'm sure plenty of folks around here will help you out.
-
Pre-draft and training camp the answer would sadly have appeared to be Kumerow. Thankfully there actually IS a draft and training camp, though, where we have learned that Shakir is capable of playing on the outside and Hodgins is finally healthy and has begun to exhibit some of the promise we hoped for. In other words, the situation is not nearly as dire as some would have you believe.

Thoughts about starters during the rest of preseason
eball replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nope. The starters can work on everything they need to in practice. This week's game should essentially decide the roster, then the 3rd game is to let all of the 3rd stringers and beyond put something on film. -
So is Tim Settle going to be a problem?
-
Thank goodness games are only 3 hours, so @Virgil should be ok. Any player who interrupts his own introductory press conference to give a Ric Flair "WOOOOOO!" is ok in my book.

Primetime thinks he’s too good for the Hall of Fame
eball replied to Charles Romes's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not to mention, Eli made some very off-color remarks as a teenager that he should be held accountable for. -
That's what these three preseason games are for. Keenum will be up to speed.
-
It's an over-reaction. Keenum is the better QB and backup regardless of what happened last Saturday night. Barkley is an emergency QB only who is here to support Josh. Go compare Keenum's and Barkley's career stats. It's a no-brainer.
