Both looking pretty good now to this untrained fan's eyes. Phillips seemed stout in middle tonight. Eppy is always active, I like his instincts. Those two rounding into better form contributes to the rotation and seems a bit of an under-the-radar reason for D's resurgence.

Allen broke single season TD record

I am so happy for Allen, no one deserves it more. -
Did D. Williams Make a LOT of $ Tonight?
MarlinTheMagician replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely. Down the line though . . . . Morse, Star -- some stuff will roll off. Hughes amend and extend. We can do this. -

Sign our own, that is the policy, right? I think we sign all three - Milano, Williams and Feliciano. Beane will find a way, we have not stressed our cap yet, deals have not been reworked. -

Did D. Williams Make a LOT of $ Tonight?

It is a Williams thread, but I respectfully disagree with this take. Milano is a rare talent in coverage and means a great deal on the field and to the team overall. No one has a better work ethic. He has a nose for the ball. He is a gamer. All he has done is make plays since he has been here. He has had a couple injuries, but none are chronic. Pay the man. -
Not popular with many, but I think he is very under-appreciated. Is he an athletic freak? No. Is he smart, in position and a team fit? Absolutely. The rise in the defense has coincided with the return of Wallace. Is he the sole cause? No. But it is not pure coincidence either. He has been a big upgrade since his return. Plus, how many DBs post their cell number and call back EVERY person that calls them?? We have to get behind Levi a little, IMHO.

Let's hope paid by us. Williams & Milano, get 'er done Beane! Figure it out now that you got your new deal - be the warlock! -
Man, a few hot takes: 1. Run fits fixed, 2. Lots of pressure all the time now; 3. Less vanilla 4. Looks like last year's D. Take away the turnover-aided TD, we shut them down. 8 points. Wow. If D can match what O has been all year, we could have some fun! Oh, and: 5. Welcome back Matt Milano!!!!

Best of luck Hausch$$ - one of the bright spots in the early days of the McDermott rebuild. Great early signing. -
Levi Wallace is Underrated
MarlinTheMagician replied to Back2Buff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Levi is a quality corner. In my view, we are definitely better with him out there than Norman. Dane Jackson could give him a push, but Levi is smart and an asset. -
Jerry Hughes Do U Bring Him Back or Let Him Walk ?
MarlinTheMagician replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think we are in cap trouble really. There are ample restructuring opportunities for a down cap year. I think Beane has this in hand. We will keep Hughes, Brown, Milano, none of those players need to be going anyplace next year. -
Joshs development has been amazing
MarlinTheMagician replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with the poster on page 1; that out pattern to Diggs is ridiculous arm strength, and a "throw him open" read from 35 yards out, and kinda off the back foot. An absolute laser, no one can make that throw except maybe Mahomes in my mind. Rogers and Stafford - maybe at their peak. He threw it so hard, the camera lost track of it. It had a speed and trajectory that NFL camera men did not anticipate. And what a tough son of a gun, and what a teammate. Just wow. Maybe the topper for me in that game, as bad as our offense was in the third quarter, and despite all the momentum for the Cardinals, I believed it likely Josh would bring them back in the fourth. Have not had that feeling since Kelly, who could stink as bad as you can imagine in the first half and come out throwing daggers in the second. -
We already lack backers, and Milano is a huge difference maker for our D. I think team and Matt like each other as well, and the bet here is both sides will bend a bit and meet in the middle of the bid and the ask. I think it would be absolutely insane to let Milano walk.

Week 10: Bills at Cardinals
MarlinTheMagician replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You see, it was memorable - albeit tough. A dome game probably not so much, especially Buffalo vs. Cleveland. Even sounds like a freezing match of the incompetents 🥵 Nothing feels better than getting home or into a warm bar after a freezing home game at the Ralph. Especially if you have dry feet! -

He seems to have settled in. Plus it is fun to cheer "Bassmaster" when he makes one!
